"The Cantilever is a great little boutique hotel. The food in the restaurant is absolutely outstanding. Staff are friendly and helpful. Bar is a fun and boisterous atmosphere and offers a selection of original and creative cocktails. The bed was perfect, and I found it very restful and quiet. I use a portable power wheelchair and I was happy with the elevator and other ADA facilities. Highly recommended!"

"Expect exactly what you see!!! This place is wonderful. Everything you need is within. Lakeview from the living room, kitchen window, dining room, and porch. The fire pit and dock views are even more magical. Five days was not enough. We could not have been happier."

"We had three adults stay here over an extended weekend and it was wonderful. Exactly the right size for the three of us. Very nice modern interior. Alissa provides a very complete guidebook with all of the information you'll need right up front, and she was very prompt with questions I had. Overall a fantastic experience and a good value too."

"The lakeside cottage was the perfect location for us to relax and enjoy the beauty of Northern Minnesota at the end of almost two weeks of travel around the state. This is a comfortable and clean place to stay with a huge picture window looking out at Rainy Lake and access to a dock, kayaks and Steve even offered to give us a boat tour! We had unfortunately already booked non-refundable activities so were unable to take him up on it. He was very helpful and informative about things to do in the area. We very much enjoyed the fire circle and the kitchen was well-stocked for our needs. This was close to Voyageurs National Park and there were a couple good restaurants fairly close, too. We very much enjoyed our stay!"

"The place is beautifully decorated and charming. If you look at the location on Google Maps, it looks a little questionable, but don't let that fool you! Easy, easy check in--it was just an email message with a code to check in. Nice location if going to Voyageurs NP."
