"Imagine waking up every morning to seeing the ocean just a few steps from your bedroom window. well here you can do that at Paolyn. This is the only houseboat I know of in all of Palawan, were you sleep right on the water. You can get up every morning, and jump right into the water for a quick wake up swim and best of all, the water is crystal clear and you can see all of the marine life around you. Each morning is different, you might wake up and see different fish that you didn't see before or one morning we woke up to the view of a large starfish. each day brings something different. These private lagoons are also enclosed by sheer rock cliffs that only add to the beauty. I can also definitely recommend the sunset view houseboats that way every sunset is yours to watch from the comfort of your bed or what we liked to do was eat dinner at sunset. Regarding the food, it is absolutely delicious like they have their own Michelin chef! Definitely go for the grilled fish; I can't think of anywhere else I ate better fish than here at Paolyn. You can choose to eat your meals at the restaurant, which at the sunset houseboats, was on the upper deck or what we chose to do each and every time was to have the bill brought to our room. They will set it all up for you and then come in about an hour, come and clear away the dishes. The kayak and paddle boats were a nice touch and snorkeling gear is free of charge. I can wholeheartedly recommend this hidden paradise gem for your stay!"

From the moment I arrived, I felt a sense of peace and happiness that’s hard to put into words. The beauty of the island is simply breathtaking. Waking up surrounded by nature, enjoying the calm atmosphere, and being away from the usual hustle and bustle was exactly what I needed. There was something so refreshing and comforting about being there it gave me the chance to slow down, breathe, and truly enjoy the moment. What made the experience even more special was the warmth of the people. Everyone was so welcoming, kind, and helpful, and their genuine hospitality made me feel at home. It’s not just the place itself that I’ll remember, but the wonderful people and the little moments that made my stay so meaningful. I left the resort feeling refreshed, happy, and grateful for the memories I made there. It was more than just a holiday it was a beautiful escape that gave me moments of peace and joy. "This place is an absolute gem! Everything is so beautifully designed and well laid out with stunning views over the infinity pool and the islands beyond. Mel was a fantastic host who took care of so many of our different changing needs. She helped organize a private boat tour that took us to some of the most magical places in the area.I would highly recommend this place to any and all travelers who wishes to see the magic of Coron & Busuanga."

"First off , the staff.. so so amazing. I had gotten food poisoning from a tour I did, and they were so helpful keeping me hydrated and had tablets to let me enjoy my vacation. The food options were great, many options. This can just be your stay without ever visiting town. The view was jaw dropping everyday. Aircon was strong , even had to turn it off it got so cold. Room was well kept , and no issues with mosquitos unless you kept door open. Cons might be the cost of getting into town, cost 2.5k per way. So plan for that cost as fuel prices are taking a toll on transport. Also there is a 22 percent tax on all food, but the prices of food are cheap enough that you don’t notice. The complaints I see online don’t seem fair. They are very misguided. This is a five star stay. They have great activities , and amazing amazing spa. Only $15 for the top massage for 2 hours and scrub. I will stay here again, only difference is I’ll rent a car as you are hour outside of coron town."

"The staff and location is the best thing about this resort. Matt, the diving instructor, and the boat captains were excellent. The rest of the staff - cooks,,servers, housekeeping - were so friendly and kind. Although there is construction going on to expand and renovate the resort, they were pretty quiet and respectful. The room we stayed in is one of the newer rooms but even the older rooms were okay. The resort is very quiet and peaceful with ocean views. "
