"Room #8 must have been vacant for awhile and it was extremely hot for about 12 hours. The air conditioner did its job though. The room was incredibly clean and kept clean by the staff. Only a few employees had good English so communication was hit & miss. Location is fabulous and the views spectacular."

"This hotel is right in the beach in playa Norte. The view is amazing! Room was clean and has everything you need, it also has an AC unit which was amazing because it was hot the day that we stayed. I would stay there again!"

Na Balam Hotel

"Na Balam is a lush oasis in the heat of the day. We stayed three nights in a ground level room with two double beds and a twin sized couch. There was also a couch on the porch which was an excellent reading nook/porch hangout. The service was great—adored the hotel staff. Na Balam isn’t beach front. The sister property across the street is and you go through it to get to the beach. It’s about a 90 second walk. The breakfast is pretty good. They give you coffee, half of a homemade English muffin (excellent), avocado (winning), eggs (meh), yogurt and homemade granola (excellent), and toast (dried out), fruit, and juice (cantaloupe juice was great, orange was watery but good). The breakfast service is very slow, so plan for that. You have a view of gorgeous beach calling to you from the dining room. We had aguachile and some of the best to the restaurant for aguachile and drinks later in the afternoon and"

"We really enjoyed the free Zama beach club access daily with padded chair and umbrella right on a beautiful stretch of beach (a very short walk from hotel). The free breakfast was a great way to try an authentic meal that we wouldn’t have otherwise—the chilaquiles were delicious. The hotel was a great low cost choice."
