On arrival we could not check in as we assumed overbooked. They said water issues but other people were in hotel. They offered us a different hotel for the night down the street.We checked in again the next afternoon.The hotel is in good location to be able to walk to different sites around Instanbul.

Staff was great and accommodating, the room was very small and noisy and some strong perfume-like smell was constantly present along with the bathroom odor. The location is close to all the attractions and a lot of restaurants. Housekeeping service was great. Breakfast was basic but always fresh.

The staff was very friendly, polite and helpful. Every inch of this hotel was extremely clean, and super friendly. The location was only 1 street away from the famous Blue Mosque & all the shops. The famous market was also a 5-7 minute walk away. There was a lot of restaurants & food options near the hotel. Would definitely come again!

My family and I stayed here during Christmas break and could not be more pleased with the outstanding service. The hotel was located within minutes of all the popular attractions, room size was greatly catered to our needs, cleanliness was quite evident, and the entire staff was amazing. The receptionist Ugur was very helpful with attraction/food recommendations and was a total life saver when I forgot an item at the hotel before my flight back home. Definitely recommend Edibe Sultan hotel if visiting Istanbul Türkeye.

The property is in an excellent location, within walking distance to major attractions such as the Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. Excellent breakfasts with a good choice of food. Plenty of eating places nearby. The hotel is an old property and could do with some modernisation in places, including better plumbing to prevent unpleasant smells. Having said that the room was comfortable and quiet and we would stay there again.

It was our first time in Europe with 2 children. The hotel staff was very nice and helpful. Amazing breakfast and location. Everything was so close by. Most of the attractions were 5-10 minutes from the hotel. The only reason I didn’t give 5 star because of the following. The rooms and the bathroom very small compare to US hotels. It was hard for 4 of us to getup in a congested room and get ready and so.

Property is old and in need up updating. Ie. towel rack rusted off, shower unit completely crooked on the wall, drain loose. Room needs a good cleaning and the walls were paper thin. We could hear everyone’s full conversations. Staff were all polite, kind and helpful and the area was central for walking to shops, restaurants and tourist attractions!

What stands out about this place is the staff who makes you feel welcome. They are always cheerful to see you and their breakfast nook is top notch with really tasty options and filtered coffee (wooow) and it starts at 730am. They have amenities in bathroom and the hotel is close to the old city sites (aga sofia, basilica cistern, tokapi palace, and its walkable like 16-20 to 20 minutes to the arasta bazaar or the grand bazaar). Its also 3 blocks away from t1 sultanamet metro. The bed is also confortable and the cleaning staff keeps it clean.The guy in the front is very friendly and always greets you with a smile. I got a city view that was blocked a bit but you can see the sun rise in the morning Staying at this hotel was the highlight of my trip in istanbul.

It was nice hotel good value for money. All major sites within a short walking distance. The staff was very helpful my wife injured her food they gave us a wheel chair. However, electric wheel chairs would be better in that area as the roads are narrow, historic made of bricks and Istanbul is a hilly city. The area around the hotel is also has some steep roads. The breakfast was fresh and nice with a variety of breads fruits cheeses sausages scrambled and boiled eggs pastries tea coffee and juices. The staff is lovely and helpful. Daily room service cleaning wise is average but fresh towels, soaps, water bottles tea bags coffee and creamers are given daily and any thing you request they go out of their way to help you. Family friendly hotel. We will definitely be going there again we all loved the hotel and the location. Edible sultan we are coming again soon!
