"I took my auntie for mothers day and my small dog riley. The reception staff were exceptional especially Alex, all making a fuss of riley and checking on our needs. The restaurant staff all very attentive and friendly. The breakfast was very good and lovely fresh danish and fruit. Sadly not time to swim but will definitely be staying again . "

"Great location to explore all the sights in the Ironbridge Gorge. Mattress topper on bed and was very comfortable. River very high and fast flowing so unable to fish. A little dated in parts but we managed to cook some lovely meals and then walk to The Boat (about 10 minutes) for a few drinks. Staff in all museums very helpful and knowledgeable."

"Friendly and welcoming staff. Beautiful gardens easy walking distance from the Ironbridge. Lovely hotel, say parking, great food, including breakfast. Happy to recommend."

"We really enjoyed our stay, although we do like a quirky cottage and this is definitley that!Decoration and furniture was lovely and the photos are accurate. It is quite dark inside but with lighting this wasn't an issue for us.There are some crazy sloping ceiling upstairs. The most severe we have come across, which would probably cause issues for some. I managed not to bang my head though but you really do have to take care.Lots of steps too inside and outside. The outside ones would cause issues for those with mobility problems. I think photos of these need to be added so that people can make an informed decision.Log burner didn't work properly, ( think logs left were too big) but there are radiators that you can control via a hive thermostat.Some furniture looks great but is way too big for the space. Kitchen table, coffee table and bed in main bedroom.However, we still had a great time and location is fab.. One of our favourite family weekends away, despite the Christmas lights swith on in Ironbridge being cancelled.. Thank you"

"The property was great. Everything we needed in an excellent location. Lots of pubs, restaurants and walks on our doorstep. Fay was very responsive to any queries we had. Will definitely come back."
