"At the Sourdough Lodge, built in log cabin style, you have the basics done well.
In some sense, we felt like we were “glamping” (glamorous camping). The rates are reasonable. The menu and service at the Sourdough Restaurant is excellent. The staff is friendly. The air is fresher and the nights cooler in the summer than in Boise. Nice relief from life in the city!"
"This was a very old fashioned “rooming house”. It wasn’t much to look at, but the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was super clean. There was a balcony to sit out on to enjoy the night air and the quiet. It would be a decent place to spend a couple days to explore."
The Ultimate Lodge for retreats, family reunions or Destination Weddings
8/10 Good
"This place worked great for our family reunion of 28 people. Location is awesome once you get there, some winding gravel roads to the top of the mountain but if you are comfortable on gravel they are no problem. Caretaker who lives on the property was incredibly helpful and friendly. We had kids from 8 months to 13 years old and adults from 30-85 years old and everyone enjoyed the pool, pond, golfing, volleyball, tennis, pickleball, horses and more. There was never a shortage of things to do. Although there is no A/C there are fans in every room so by midnight the rooms were cooled off (we went in mid July). It got hot in the main part of the house but 2/4 ceiling fans were broken so that could’ve had something to do with it."
Awesome Views of the Southfork Payette, Hot Tub and Room to Roam
10/10 Excellent
"We enjoyed our time in Garden Valley. The cabin is very comfortable and the location on the river is great. The air conditioning was very appreciated during the above average temperatures."
Newly built cabin with private 2 acres, pool & hot tub
10/10 Excellent
"Wonderful vacation. House is roomy, clean, and very comfortable. Well stocked and supplied. The hosts/owners were terrific. Is a very lovely setting."
"The space was clean and comfortable. The kitchen had all the necessities to prepare a meal, host-provided snacks and beverages were a nice addition, and an easy 5 minute drive into Stanley. Everything was great! We really appreciated the porch seating in the morning and evening. Very peaceful atmosphere."
