"I stay at Shinjuku Prince hotel all the time when I travel to Tokyo staying near Kabukicho. I love their parking which is just right below the hotel and always have spots, and the daily parking rate with unlimited in/out is a big plus also!"

"This is my second time staying at Fujisan Onsen Hotel Kaneyamaen, and once again, it has been nothing short of amazing! From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. Even during check-in, the staff personally escorted us to our room while taking the time to introduce the hotel and share about its many facilities. There was simply so much to enjoy throughout our stay. We started with a lovely welcome tea overlooking a tranquil stream flowing through a forested area. The hotel also has a huge, beautifully landscaped Japanese garden where you can take your time to stroll and immerse yourself in the peaceful surroundings. In the afternoon, we were treated to a lovely violin performance while enjoying hot tea and sweet potatoes, once again overlooking the beautiful stream. We also had the chance to soak our feet in the garden's foot onsen, which was such a relaxing experience. Both breakfast and dinner were excellent. Dinner was served in an enclosed private dining room, giving us plenty of privacy to enjoy our meal. Another highlight was the lounge overlooking Mount Fuji, where there was an impressive complimentary selection of wine, drinks, snacks and even ice cream! Guests can also dress up in beautiful kimonos, adding a little something special to the whole Japanese experience. Every evening, the hotel puts on traditional drum performances followed by bingo, with attractive prizes for lucky winners. It was such a fun way to end the day!"

"Great old time hotel. Beautiful garden. Were large room well appointed. It is so good to be able to open a window. Good size (like full) 2 beds, excellent mattress. Bathroom is great even by Japanese standards. Spa treatments definitely a plus. Terrific stuff, competent and eager to help. Restaurant was ok. Bus stop was across the street."

"This hotel has a really cool lobby with a nice bakery and restaurant on the main floor. The room that we was small compared to North American hotels, 18 m², so it was pretty tight in the room to open suitcases etc. and there is nowhere to put clothes. The shower was nice and the beds were comfortable. The best part is probably the location as it is next to a park and there is a Starbucks if you are into their coffee right across the street in the park. It’s nice to get away from the packed streets of Shinjuku. It’s about a 15 minute walk to Shinjuku station, but there’s also a bus you can take that takes you right there that runs quite often so it is pretty convenient."

"Would stay here again! Cannot beat the location at all. Yes the room walls had lots of scratches, likely due to everyone’s suitcases rubbing on the walls. However, overall room was comfortable and clean. I was on the second floor and found it to be a good experience. The beds are more on the firm side, but I prefer that. The pillows were actually very perfect and I’m a side sleeper. I loved being able to grab records from the front and play them in my room while I got ready to head out for dinner. The staff at the hotel were all helpful and they can help you in both Japanese or English. The bagels from the cafe attacked were so good! I didn’t check out the bar; but it did look very cute."

"This hotel is in a very convenient location. Despite being close to the railway tracks, it was surprisingly quiet, and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom and separate toilet were very clean, and I enjoyed taking a bath every night after a long day of sightseeing. The only major issue was a scheduled five-hour power outage in the building. We were not informed of this at the time of booking. Only after our reservation had been confirmed did we receive a notification from the hotel explaining that the information had been available on its Japanese website. However, the website was inaccessible due to security updates, and the hotel claimed that it had been unable to share this information through overseas booking platforms. The hotel offered free cancellation, but by that point, it was too close to our travel dates to find another hotel within a reasonable price range. No alternative compensation was offered. I was disappointed with how the hotel handled this inconvenience, and their response fell below my expectations. That said, aside from this issue, our stay was comfortable, and the hotel was a great choice for our family of three, including our four-year-old child."
