"Fantastic hotel: location, amenities, service, food, room qualities, views...Pricey, with all the usual ancillary charges (the famous "resort fee"), but overall well worth it given the (mid-tier) quality of other north shore hotels. The design of the property alone, with its vistas of Hanalei Bay around every corner, plus the beautifully appointed rooms and great staff, makes it all worthwhile. Our only minor quibble is the service can be slow at times, especially at their main restaurant and bar, and with their bell (luggage) services. This might have been that they were understaffed given the slightly off-season time we were there, but at these luxury price points slow service, for whatever reason, should not be tolerated. To pay north of $1K per night I expect my food to arrive within a reasonable amount of time (say, within 20m). After all, while the food is very good it is not Michelin-starred (so why the long wait times...?) In the grand scheme of our stay this was minor and we would definitely return."

"Apartments are spacious and nice. Parking is easy. Property is very nice and enjoyable just to walk around. There’s plenty of local restaurants and grocery nearby. "

"Our family absolutely enjoyed every moment of our stay. We used to be owners at Puamana and there have definitely been some beautiful upgrades in the complex since we were last there. The area is incredible. This was our first time with a 3 1/2 year old so it was a little different then our other visits but enhanced by his joy of life. Anini beach and Hanalei Bay were perfect for him and our family. We had quite a few cooking adventures in the well appointed kitchen and of course every morning we had to day hello to the local chickens and the shy grass. We are already dreaming of our next visit and would be thrilled to stay at Ron and Pam’s condo again."

"Everything is perfect except the fan, the chain that controls the fan in all rooms are rusty and not easy to change the speed. Maybe with an AC is even better. "

"What a wonderful property and rental experience. The house was absolutely amazing and was so inviting, and the management team made everything a breeze from start to finish. The home was immaculately clean, beautiful, and had been set up for us to make us feel so comfortable and welcome (lights on, Hawaiian music playing, ceiling fans on, and A/C set perfectly). The house was stocked and organized and had every ammenity we could ever need or envision. The kitchen was stocked with everything you can imagine, each bedroom had fans, dressers, loads of hangers, etc. There were 2 washers and dryers, ironing boards and irons, cleaning supplies, and more. We were able to park in the garage and had the use of all the essential beach items we could hope for, including towels, chairs, boogie boards, coolers, umbrellas, etc. There were even some kids' beach toys (we didn't need those, but it was great to see they were available for families). I can't say enough great things about this property and all the details both large and small that were in place (like fresh flowers on the dining room table). Our stay and this home were just absolutely incredible. It FAR exceeded our expectations, and the location was near one of the best beaches on Kauai. 10 stars out of 5.
