Four of us (two adults and two grown kids) stayed for five nights over the holiday weekend. The location of this property right on the Duck/Southern Shores boundary was just great. Sunset views of the bay were great and the ocean was a short walk or drive away. The property was very clean. We are used to renting homes that are a little more lived in, so the lack of games and puzzles (and basic cooking necessities like salt and pepper) threw us a bit. We did a lot of cooking and missed not having a grill, but made do with what was available, which is probably fine for most folks. We also provided feedback to the host that while the property is listed as being for six, it is really more appropriate for four. There are only four chairs for the table where you eat, four chairs out on the deck, and even the living room really only seats five. One of our grown kids ended up sleeping on the couch because the twin beds were so small. They would be ok for small children, but don't stick your grown friends on them. Overall, it was a very good weekend, check in and check out went smoothly, and the host was very responsive.
