We had a wonderful stay with plenty of room for our group. Very clean home, attentive host, a well stocked kitchen, and minutes to the beach! Definitely need to check out Art’s Place while you’re here too. A short walk down the road for some really great burgers. And maybe a mid afternoon Bloody Mary It was a perfect week! Highly recommend renting this house.

The house is adorable and in a fantastic location! It's about a 2-minute walk to the beach and a few restaurants. The porch is incredible and was our favorite part of the house. The kitchen is decently stocked and the bathrooms were spacious and updated. The host was very helpful with any questions we had. We would gladly stay here again.

Amazing stay

This was our first trip to the Outer Banks and we couldn’t have had a better stay. We could watch the ocean while reading books on the deck and hop across to the beach easily. We generally hit the beach three times a day (morning, mid-morning, and evening) and the house’s central location gave us time to explore (we hit the waterpark, miniature golfed, did go karts, surfed the sand dunes and kayaked Alligator river). Our hosts were responsive and kind, but otherwise we stayed out of the way. The house is clean and is exactly what it looks like in the pictures.

My sons and I stayed for a few days and loved it! The place was very clean and had a nice view from the front porch. I loved hearing the ocean while relaxing out there. The decor was perfect for a nice beach feel. There was very easy access to the beach (not a straight shot across, but very close). It was also conveniently close to a lot of the shops.The only drawback for me was the outdoor shower. It was very dark (no sunlight filters in, which takes away the joy of being outside while showering) and lots of cobwebs. But this wasn’t enough to ruin our vacation.This was a GREAT place and I highly suggest it!

Family vacation.

Great house. I’m a great neighborhood/area. Very easy accesible. We had the thermostats break because of how hot it was and the host got it fixed within a few hours. Their response and timeliness of addressing the matter was excellent as it was over 95+ degreess while we stayed there. Would highly recommend. Kitchen had all and every single appliance needed. Location was superb. Hosts were 10/10!

Perfect 😍 Beach House for a Family Vacation!

This property is just awesome. Great ocean views from the huge living room and wrap around deck. The kitchen was stocked with the most utensils/dishes/pots/pans than I have ever rented before! New upgraded bathrooms and new furniture just made us feel at home. Walking distance, just 6 houses from great restaurants!! The homeowner was in constant contact with us making sure we were always taken care of. Who could ask for more? Absolutely wonderful great time was had by all. 😊

Perfect Week at the Beach

My family and I had a wonderful time at this property. The location was excellent, steps to the beach and a few more to restaurants and ice cream! The house was cozy and a perfect blend of beach house, log cabin, and cottage. It contained everything we needed, and my kids fell in love with the comfy couches, insisting we buy the same for our home. As great as the house is, I was most thankful for the ease of communicating with the host. Nelene was fantastic, responding to all messages right away, and was gracious and thorough in providing all relevant details. I would gladly return to this property or any other from this host. My family had a perfect week at the beach to kick off summer.

This was a wonderful location for a family vacation. My husband and I went with our almost 2-year-old daughter and had a great time. We made a lot of use of the picnic table on the front porch for eating meals and when we weren't eating there, we appreciated all the options for eating within the house too. We loved that the walk to the public beach access was so short and we could see the ocean from the porch. There was a lot of great space inside and it was so nice that there were chairs and laundry at the house for us to use. It is a great place for those looking for a lot of levels of convenience and can work well even for a family with an active/mischievous toddler. :) Pending our family plans for next year (and who else vacations with us) we hope to come back for sure!

Wonderful trip!!

We had such an amazing time during our stay in OBX! The checkin process and overall communication with Nelene was excellent. She was clear and everything we needed to do was straightforward and simple. The house was clean, well stocked and able to accommodate all of our needs. There was a pack n play which turned out to be really helpful with our 2 year old. The fenced in backyard was great for our dog. The view from the house/balcony was wonderful and it was so quiet and peaceful at night. It was an easy walk to the beach making it simple for us to get there multiple times each day. There are a handful of walkable places to eat which we loved. We were so close to everything including attractions in Duck, Kill Devil Hills and Nags Head. It was such a wonderful vacation. No one wanted to leave (the kids kept asking if we could keep the house) and we will definitely be back!

This house checked off every box for us. First of all, it was CLEAN. It’s well maintained, updated and comfortable. We stayed with our 4 teens, and had plenty of room to spread out. The deck was a perfect spot to enjoy coffee in the morning and evenings listening to the ocean. The beach was a short walk, easy enough to run home for forgotten beach gear or food. We really appreciated the proximity to things like ice cream (the kids walked there in only a few minutes!), multiple restaurants and shopping. (Duck donuts a 6 minute walk!) Views from the living area were spectacular, the kitchen was well stocked and you are 5-10 minutes from anything you might want to do. Nelene was so responsive and easy to work with. This might have been our best vacation ever! Will certainly return :)
