"Spotlessly clean, communications with property excellent, booked a private room which was comfortable and a good size for two of us. Shared space is open and airy, filtered water available. Plenty of showers/toilets/washing space. 24-hour launderette just across the street. Plenty of local places to eat (and shop!). Excellent"

"Enjoyable stay and a great budget property choice. Staff were all helpful, Wi-Fi good, rooms, although snug, more than adequate for sleeping and showering. The one thing that let the property down was the lack of options at breakfast. Everyday a different breakfast meal was given but you had no idea what it would be and didn’t have another option to choose if it wasn’t to your liking. That said, the quality of the food was good. Would happily stay at the property again if looking for somewhere...

"These guys know what they're doing. Absolutely amazing communication immediately after booking. They send you all the details. And tell you to update them when you're on your way. So if you're lost they will help you find the way. The interior design, the lighting, the quality and finishing, the marble used. You would think you are at a 5 star hotel. But the prices are waaaaay more attainble and what you're pay for. You are getting a bargain. Just the quality of toilet paper they're using...

We weren’t very far from the airport and there were plenty of places to eat nearby. It was easy to get to other major places and for all tourist trips this hotel was one of the pickups. "I think this was one of the nice hotels i Kota Kinabalu. Not too new and some better maintenance is possible, but for the prices offered, it's definitely OK. My observations from that hotel and from the next, in Sandakan, show that probably in all Malaysia (or at least in Borneo) there is something to be improved in housekeeping. It took some effort to receive towels, there were some chambermaid's hairs on the floor... things like that are definitely not the best, even though I won't remember...
