"The staff were always very helpful. They were able to have our large luggage transferred to the airport 4 days ahead of our departure so we didn’t have to take it all with us to Kyoto. Our room was quiet, clean and spacious with a beautiful view of Tokyo. All the toiletries were a bonus too! "

"It’s right by the nippori station so that in itself is a big plus. The rooms are on the smaller end but very much doable for a party of two in one bed, and especially for a solo traveler. Laundry is on the second floor and very easy to use. Also, never had the breakfast buffet but it is a traditional Japanese breakfast and not an American one, which is great for those looking for that. Nippori itself is a lively city, with a quiet and calmer neighborhood to the right of the hotel, and plenty of restaurants, cafe’s, and activities to the left. I personally enjoyed the quick and easy access to the area, and the quick walk to Familymart and the station. Staff was as friendly as can be, and I recommend this place for those on a budget! It’s a few stops from Ueno and akihabara and Tokyo station on the JR line, which means a great ability to move anywhere Definitely recommend"

"This is a great hotel for a 1st visit to Japan in the heart of Tokyo. The convenience of being across from the train station on the Yamanote line was unparalleled and the hotel is well kept, modern, clean, and spacious. The beds were comfortable, breakfast choices were good and all tasty, service was friendly and kind. The area feels residential and calm in a way that is restful after the chaos and intensity of Tokyo neon while still being super close (15-25 min) to main destinations, parks, & sightseeing by train. There is a great shopping center in the train station called Atre that our group of 4 highly recommend for easy, affordable meals. The hotel held our luggage for us after checkout for free before we left for the airport which was very convenient. One improvement would be the laundry area, amenities selection, and water refill station. The laundry, microwave, and water refill station are all in one room which is small and gets hot. We didn't need to use laundry machines, but this is something to note if you do need them. Only 2 machines and dryers on site. There is also only 1 water refill station and it would have been nicer to have one on each floor. The amenities were bare basics. They could have provided skincarefl free of charge (cleanser, moisturizer) as was done in other hotels. This didn't affect our stay very much, just a note for the hotel. All in all, super impressed with the hotel, the staff and the location. Book it!"

"Lovely hotel in a good location close to Ikebukuro station, and with a 7-Eleven attached. Only complaint is that we were given one key card between three of us and when we lost it on the last day they charged us £15 for a new one."
