Sunset Condotel Bali

There's lots of nearby food outlets, the room was large and had a nice view of pool from balcony*, friendly staff, and a good laundry service. Also it's a good street for those who don't like harassment every five paces. There are two excellent coffee shops up the road as well as a money changer. However for room 206: the showerhead was broken, the air conditioner failed on the second last night, the whole suite needs painting and tiles replaced, the balcony door* required a strong person to close it (we put the key in the safe so the staff couldn't leave the door ajar), lighting was somewhat inadequate. For the complex: great internet connection, the pool's surface and walls were scummy even though the filter was sometimes on but the pool area was pleasant otherwise, and the lift worked well. Perhaps other rooms are nicer but room 206 is below 'two star' level.

Ik verbleef in dit hotel met mijn gezin 20-7 tot 3-8 2017. De eerste dag bij aankomst kregen we een kamer op de vierde verdieping, kamer 402. In de keukenla waren ratten keutels te vinden. De maneger gesproken hierover, waarna we kamer 404 hebben gekregen. De keuken was er vies, de handdoeken, alles oud en kapot, de deuren allemaal oud. Bij dag drie was er een grote rat in de woonkamer aan het lopen. De wasbak lekt en stinkt ook. Deze hotel raad ik aan niemand aan vooral als je kinderen heb. Het is jammer ,want de kamers zijn erg ruim een er is genoeg ruimte. Als ze deze hotel zouden opknappen, konden ze meer geld voor kunnen vragen, want de ruimte is er wel. De zwembad is ook aan opknapbeurt toe.

Maintenance & attention required

Whilst my room was relatively clean, it didn't feel as though it had been cleaned properly. There was a thick coating of dust on the bathroom door vent, something that could be fixed with a bit of attention. But the mould on the roof upon which condensation started forming during the morning is just a health hazard. The sliding door to the patio didn't close properly or lock, don't know why they bothered providing a key. The rain fall shower head is the only positive from my stay, which was less than 24 hours.

Sunset condotel residence

Booked in midnight. Could smell the mildew in the room before entering. WiFi did not work very well. Didn't stay 7 nights we booked for. Paid almost full price for 2 nights,very disappointed as this was money wasted. Mildew was very strong and possibly a health risk for our family of 5. Staff were great though. The sunset hotel on the other hand was very nice and reasonably priced for 2 rooms poolside, including breakfast $500.00 all inclusive 5 nights. Much better value for money and would recommend to anyone.
