"For anyone looking for a perfect location consisting of a quiet location in a breathtakingly spectacular setting, i highly recommend, sunrises and sunsets for days for those that understand their compass bearings. ....HOWEVER, if you are looking for a perfectly new concrete villa, where there is zero faults and everything works like it would back home, then this place may let you down a little. As someone who used to stay in thatched bungalows 20 years ago on these islands, i am used to things being a little quirky, with average plumbing, (i am a plumber btw!), imperfect in many ways but full of charm in many more. Yes, we would absolutely stay here again. This place is dripping with a certain "Je ne sais quoi" "

"We loved this place as it's even better than the photos show. Everything was nice and clean, comfortable and the place is tastefully furnished and well equipped. The view is captivating and we spent a lot of time studying it either from the terrace, the balcony or from the swimming pool, which we always had to ourselves. Housekeeping did an amazing job both before we arrived and on the mid-week clean. They also welcomed us and assisted with our luggage. As mentioned by others your own transport is pretty much essential due to the location. It's not a million miles from the beach but we certainly didn't fancy the walk back up the hill. We prefered to park our hire car at the bottom and drive back up. There's a good selection of restaurants nearby if all types. We tend to use small local type places and our favorite was Malie eatery which we visited more than once as it had the world's best chicken satay and green curry. It's prices are unbelievably cheap as well. We would not hesitate to come back again next time we visit Koh Samui. "

"My room was superb! Clean, bright, spacious and my patio has a zen covered love seat that overlooked the pool, with a privacy hedge… literally steps away. I went for swims every morning in the infinity pool. Refreshing & serene. The breakfast was bounteous! Tropical fruit, salad greens and fresh vegetables; eggs cooked to perfection with tasty sides; rice and variety of curries, meats, mushrooms, veggies; pastries, yogurt, cereal, dried fruit and local desserts; so many kinds of coffees. A Truly a perfect feast to start a perfect day in paradise! All catered by warm, cheerful, accommodating staff - I felt like we were a tender family! "
