"The Deluxe Queen Queen room faces the road and houses look straight into your room. The linen curtains help to filter this out. The room itself had been refreshed recently. The bathroom was however was still in its origional condition. The covers around the shower fittings fell off a few times. The water filter down stairs needed replacing, therefore would not work towards the end of our stay. This was not resolved. The room was relatively clean, however there was a hair tie sitting on the disabled wall handle I the bathroom and items under the bed from the previous guests and the coffee area was dusty. This indicates that the room was not cleaned thoroughly. We had our room serviced and the mugs we used for coffee were not replenished, therfore were dirty. The bathroom sink was not a sanitary way to clean these for repeated use. The air con worked well and the beds were comfortable. The pool was heated really well and was a lovely escape from the 4 degree cold. The kids room was amazing and the kids loved this along with the pool. Overall we did enjoy our stay here and would stay agian, some maintance and attention to detail would go a long way in improving this hotel though. "

"The room was nice but the bathrooms weren’t overly clean. No conditioner in the shower, only conditioning shampoo which was horrible. No body lotion or hand lotion either, for this sort of hotel I would expect those basic items. "

"Property is very old, paint peeling off walls, no hot water, I hated it, someone was stuck in the lift this morning "

"Was up stairs that were difficult for my senior mum. No lift. Suitcases etc were very challenging to manoeuvre. Our fault they told me for not specifying wheelchair access - but she doesn’t need a wheeelchair! TV wouldn’t work. Such a weird place to exit - gates were tied up. Bit of an odd vibe. "
