"I arrived and there was no parking available. As I was unwilling to park the car in a dark unknown place I left the hotel. Don’t stay. The front desk guy was unhelpful - basically you are out of luck if you show up and there is no parking. I booked the hotel specifically because it advertised secure parking. I should be refunded - the guy at the desk was just unhelpful. "

"fire alarm routinely gets pulled in middle of the night by homeless who can access it next door in the bank atm. happened to us at 1:30 am and had to get up and evacuate. stairwell was full of people at the second floor and below. if there was a fire we would’ve been stuck there. stay somewhere else until they fix this issue"

"Great location, nice responsive host, kitchen had everything we needed. There were issues with the heating, but the host did bring us a space heater to help. Some furniture was old and stained. And there were some clutter in the patio area… But also lots of plants, and our dog was welcome, and liked the patio area. Overall, a comfortable place in a great location."

"The room was nice and clean, the bed was comfortable, shower was hot and clean. The breakfast was basic: pastries, yogurts, coffee, juice, cereal, and oatmeal. Parking was free which is a plus. The soap dispenser was a little unsanitary in our opinion as you had to grip the bottle and squeeze the soap out rather than just pumping it out from the top. The main downside was that the room was not so soundproof. You could hear as people walked by the room and as they spoke, you could hear the housekeeping carts as the rolled up and down the walkways, you could hear traffic driving past the building, and we even heard someone snoring from the neighboring room. There was certainly room for improvement, but I still wouldn't say the property was bad. "

"The rental was just as described in both the pictures and host's description as well. The rooms were clean and had great natural lighting, the place was spacious, the closets were huge, the shower was great, and extra bits like laundry detergent were included. The rental sits just off of a somewhat main street - vehicle and foot traffic noise present but seldomly attention grabbing. We enjoyed our stay. If you find yourself needing to be Oakland and are looking for a place to shower and sleep, this place will do just fine."
