"This was the cutest place and suited our needs perfectly. My husband, son, and I were in town for a baseball tournament at the new Parson's Sports Ranch in Clifton, TX, and this place is 15 minutes away! It has everything you need and even a real rooster alarm clock lol. We loved seeing the chickens and rooster in the front yard in the morning. We sat outside and ate breakfast that we picked up from The Cove Cafe right down the road. It's home-cooked food and very delicious! Great prices too! We didn't get to walk to the lake due to a tight schedule but hope to come back and take advantage of the lake/fishing! The hosts are very prompt and communication was great. Thanks for allowing us to stay! "

"The property was welcoming to pets. The lack of rugs.carpet made it a bit challenging for our older corgi, Winn Dixie to walk well (without traction) through the house, Host was east to reach and communicate with, the kitchen was well appointed, with everything we needed at our fingertips. Beds were comfy, shower was appropriately powerful. Very nice stay. Would return."

"We really enjoyed our stay at Lake Whitney. The place is absolutely adorable and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed, including a refrigerator, stove, microwave, and coffee maker, which made our stay very comfortable. We especially appreciated the plenty of hooks available for hanging towels—such a small detail, but it made a big difference. We did run into a minor issue during our stay, but the owner was very responsive and resolved it quickly, which we truly appreciated. The view is breathtaking, and the location is wonderfully secluded and peaceful—perfect for a relaxing getaway. We would definitely stay here again! "
