Check in was easy and great. They provided a welcome drink and snack. The staff was very friendly throughout the whole stay. The room was nice and clean. I really liked the room as it was kind of by itself up on the hill. Having the pool just outside the room was great and the hot tub was amazing, especially at night. Loved everything about this place! They exceeded all of our expectations. The most pleasant staff, outstanding facilities and services, gorgeous rooms. Every aspect of the facility and our experiences there were outstanding. The only suggestion I would make is regarding dairy housekeeping. The staff are wonderful but they are provided with a broom rather than a vacuum cleaner for cleaning. The result is some accumulation of dust etc in the corners and remote areas of the room. Understanding that speed of turnover is important, but in light of the low cost and high availability of labor, hiring additional workers and purchasing vacuum cleaners...

Loved this hotel...the staff was so friendly and the property itself was beautful! The gardens and pool/beach were the perfect setting and the breakfast buffet was excellent. I really like Bophut beach....good water for swimming and on the quieter side..Fishermans Village is a short walk by beach or road and full of good shops and restaurants. Rooms are very nicely decorated and each with their own little patios...I knocked 1 star off the room as we would have preferred the bathroom area more...

Friendly, excellent staff, especially the staff at the restaurant. Great location right on the beach. Hotel was very clean and well maintained. Only one complaint... try as I might, I was never able to get the shower to run warm... kept changing from scorching hot to cool and back. Maybe just my room? Otherwise, this was an excellent resort. Would definitely stay here again if I get back to Ko Samui.

Tangsai bay resort is a environmentally beautiful relaxing place. We had a mountain side villa which was spacious and romantic with huge outside deck and comfortable large living room bedroom and bathroom area. Clean and comfortable beautiful view of sea. Staff couldn't have been nicer. Only criticism is that no air conditioning in any of the restaurants although the food was plentiful and tasty. Overall strongly recommend it.

There were restaurants and lots of cheap massage places right outside the property within walking distance. There was also a 7 eleven and another little store for snacks within walking distance. They had a free shuttle to Lamai beach every few hours. The property was very nice.
