"The entire property is unique and has a welcoming feel. Nice people and good room. Gave 4 stars instead of 5 because my wife has a bad knee. She struggled with the two flights of stairs to reach the room."

"Love the airport shuttle, all the amenities specially free breakfast. Beautiful surrounding including the LOVE ALASKA sign! Also have shuttle to take you to nearest grocery store (you just have to wait in between airport pickup). The hotel is also place for most TOUR Operator pick up and drop off. Possible chance to see the Northern Light on the property. Friendly staff."

"Very awkward walking in through a very unorganized greenhouse and up to a private residence setting, then being sent a half mile away to a rundown apartment building for our room. It was clean enough but old and oddly set up. We went out for dinner and came back and there was not a decent parking space. There was no soap or shampoo, etc . In the morning we had to go back the 0.5 miles to the main residence and up to the breakfast room. The eggs were cold, the coffee lukewarm, ... It just seemed unappetizing at best."

"Very nice property. All the amenities are good. Especially the shuttle service was good. We missed the shuttle from the rail depot, since the resort name was not on the shuttle and the website didn’t say there was a shuttle from the rail depot. When we called from the station nobody picked up at the front desk. Otherwise everything was good. They dropped us at the tour site, museum etc at no extra charge"

"The room was very large, 2 queen beds, separate room with tv, microwave and fridge and separate bathroom. Basic breakfast which was more than adequate and coffee tea in reception area. The staff were very friendly and a free shuttle to/ from train and airport was provided on a personal basis. Even though the property was 4 km from downtown there was a huge shopping complex 5mins walk away and also a good bus service during the week, doesn’t run on weekends which was a little annoying. The bus is free if over 60 😊"

"In a quiet neighborhood. Layout of the room can be improved. It has a kitchenette that can be helpful for most people. Breakfast was in a different building, but it was amazing. Owner made egg in ham cups and peanut butter muffins that were just mildly sweetened which I appreciated that. There’s other breakfast items as well."

"Pretty, clean, bright yet with bedroom shades, close to where we wanted to be. Plenty of amenities minutes away as it is close to the highway quietly tucked into a nice neighborhood. No one was staying in the larger unit that wrapped beside and overhead. Nice deck to our entrance that soon will be shared as it warms up in May!We would recommend it to family and others."
