"Friendly stafff and clean property was tricky to find though"

"Unpleasant instant coffee. I heard there was a store- bought tart, but I didn’t see it. You must bring shampoo and soap; wasn’t any. You’re going to have to go up a couple flights of stairs to get to your room. Nice gentlemen will help you with your bags if he’s around. Location is good if you’re cruising. I tried months in advance (multiple ways; more than one email address) to contact the property and never got an answer. They offer transport from airport for a fee, but never could get through. Expedia even tried on my behalf to no avail. Got there via Uber which was cheaper anyway. We stood outside about an hour and a half staring at the wood and iron door, trying the phone numbers, asking neighbors who knew nothing and nearly left. A gentleman comes along at a little later than noon. Nice guy; couldn’t understand a thing he said. Seems a code to enter is available sometime within the previous 24 hours. I did not see any emails about that but was told that had I checked on an app called “WhatsApp,” I may have received a message. So, shortly before arrival check that. If you get in, you’re on your own getting up the stairs. By the time I got there, I had no confidence that the property owner’s representative would communicate with me since it hadn’t happened before. Mind you, I literally spent hours getting a hold of them, to no avail. The old building was cool, but everything outside the room neglected. We paid $10 euros each to get to the ship. Suspect wasn’t best option."

"Room was clean and cool with a nice air conditioner. Mini market around the corner was handy Good location and breakfast in house was handy and appreciated "

"If you like to stay in the hotels this place is not for you.Check in is at 2p but nobody at front desk to check with.No instructions how to check in without a real person .Very hard to get anybody on the phone.The place is located on the side street, 15 min walk to restaurants.It felt safe and when the personnel finally showed at the property they were nice.It is OK for a one night stay before or after cruise but nothing special."

"Well located near cruise port and shops. Beautiful inside and top cleanliness. The building is under construction and will soon be done. Otherwise, the place is quaint and lovely. I will revisit for sure. Thanks Gizella and Mrs Ortiz. Lovely people. Don’t hesitate. This place is a beauty. "

"Easy check in, good amenities in the room. Breakfast is good. Hotel is very near to the train station. Hotel near shops, bars and restaurants."

"Room was adequate although the bed was uncomfortable. Staff were friendly. Great breakfast!"

"Only cold water for morning shower. Staff hid behind poor English rather than fix the problem. Owner's mother solved it as we were leaving. Unlikely to return. Breakfast was a pastry and tea or coffee. "

"Absolutely no where to park and up the hill from town. No taxi will pick you up, and if they do,it'll $30 to go a mile into town"
