Amazing property!

The property was beautiful, filled with natural light, and had such a peaceful atmosphere—being off the Strip made it a perfect retreat. We especially loved how relaxing it was to take a dip in the pool. However the spa did stop bubbling after about 40 minutes and never really got hot but I’m not sure if that was an us problem or notOne thing to note is that the listing mentioned the property wouldn't be shared with the owner, but we did notice their presence during our stay. It was a bit unexpected since we've used Vrbo multiple times and hadn’t encountered that before. Additionally, when some family stopped by for a short visit, we were told the owner checked in to ensure everything was in order. While we understand wanting to be cautious, it felt a little surprising in the moment.Overall, we had a lovely stay and truly appreciated the space and tranquility the property offered

Pros - The property is (mostly) gorgeous. Sigrid does a fantastic job of maintaing the grounds, and the house is spacious, clean, and comfortable. Cons - Sigrid herself is a nightmare to work with. We agreed at check-in to keep the AC at 72 or above, and we did. But starting the first day we were there, she continuously harassed us by text, off the VRBO system, about how much the AC was costing her. She even started hitting us up for more money - again, off the VRBO system. Several times she remotely raised the temperature, and even went so far as to turn the AC off by remotely switching the system to "ECO". Even after we checked out she continued sending texts - still off the VRBO system - saying we should pay her more money. I had to block her from texting me. The back yard / pool area is listed as "private", and Sigrid said as much when I checked in, but on the second day we were there we came back from dinner to find her snooping around the property.There are also areas of the yard that get little or no maintainance - the spa portion in particular is a mess of crumbling concrete and not very comfortable to be in.

The rental property at 8900 Silk Bonnet Court was a wonderful place with all the comforts of home. A full kitchen with all the amenities. The master bedroom and bath were a great size with a huge master closet that will accommodate all your travel luggage. The lovely sunroom overlooks the beautiful backyard with pool. Definitely something to indulge in. More importantly was the host of the property. She was ever so gracious and made our stay ever so pleasant. The property was also close to the main arteries that would take you to downtown Summerlin and to downtown Vegas within minutes. Easy access to public restaurants, groceries, and medical services.

Great location for walking trails and fishing, pool was fantastic also!

Siqrid was a great host and was always available if you had any issues. The property is spacious and beautifully decorated. We loved inviting family over for cookouts and swimming. The price is comparable and cheaper than a high end hotel but you get so much more space. This is our second time staying here and we loved it!

A Beautiful and Comfortable Home

Having stayed at this Spring Mountain Ranch home our third time now we still find it to be perfect for spending a week in Vegas. The house is beautiful and comfortable. Sigrid is the perfect host always helpful and always replies to a phone call or text right away. Some vases of fresh flowers from the garden to welcome us was especially nice.

Perfect location the and the pool was wonderful

This property was the perfect location for taking day hikes in the mountains and/or going to the strip. The house was clean and comfortable and we loved the pool (and beautiful garden) in the 100+ deg heat. Sigrid was very easy to reach with questions and was very helpful and friendly. My only suggestion, as noted by another reviewer, might be to update the mattresses which would make the beds a bit more comfortable.

Perfect getaway

A Beautiful Home to Enjoy

This is a beautiful home in a very nice neighborhood and we always enjoy staying here. We've enjoyed it so much we couldn't imagine that anywhere else could be as nice. We've stayed here many years in a row as we come every year to see my sister who lives in Vegas and we like to have our own place to stay. It's very spacious and comfortable, has everything you could possibly need, and the lush outdoor flower and palm tree gardens and the swimming pool and spa make it especially enjoyable. There are many nice restaurants and stores nearby which is very convenient. We find it's just way much better than a hotel could ever be.

Tranquil mini-retreat on the outskirts of Las Vegas

The home was very roomy, of high-quality, and quiet. The pool was nice to look at and the hot tub was great for relaxing. The host showed us how to operate everything and reviewed the basic rules of the house. The property is located about 20 minutes from the strip so it is a small jaunt but worth it to get away from the lights and the noise when you are trying to sleep. We visited the nearby Lamb park as well as the two preserves (Red Rock and Desert Wildlife) that were both only 15 to 20 minutes away by car. The trips to downtown/strip each day were easy and fast.

A beautiful home to enjoy

We love this home so much we came back this year to stay again. The host, Sigrid, is very gracious, helpful and friendly. It was a pleasure seeing her again. The gardens were even more beautiful for this stay. We enjoyed again the comfortable bedrooms and the open, spacious living areas, plus the areas outside by the pool and spa and next to the house are nice for relaxing outdoors. There also seemed to be an abundance of hummingbirds hovering about the pool and flowers this year. They were fascinating to see.

Garden of Eden

This was my first time not staying on the strip and I absolutely loved it. This house is immaculate! Located with easy access to the highway for all different destinations. If you wanted an oasis in the desert the back yard is AMAZING. The owner lives on site and was gracious enough to answer all our questions about her beautiful yard. There were very few rules like please take the shoes off....which we always do anyway and when you walk in and see how clean the house is, you would want to do this anyway. We felt very much at home and enjoyed our stay. We will definitely be back.

4 important things to improve

1. Personal belongings are too much we were like walking on a glass. Couldn’t feel fully comfortable. 2.The beds were not comfortable even I could say the queen was the worst I ever slept on. 3. The pans and dinnerware in the kitchen were not clean. I washed every single thing before using. 4. Outside lights are not enough for evening swimming. We were planning some night swimming however it was pretty dark we couldn’t swim at night at all. 5. Swimming pool fully private, we liked that.

Beautiful and peaceful!

I have stayed at many VRBOs, good and bad, and this one did not disappoint. My sister and I were looking for a place to get away and have a much needed restful and relaxing long weekend and that was so easy to accomplish at this beautiful and peaceful home. Sigrid, the owner, was so gracious and an absolute delight. She greeted us when we got there and gave us the tour and thourough instructions on the use of the pool and answered all questions we had before retiring to her casita on the property. She gave us our privacy but let us know she was there if we needed anything, and responded quickly when we texted her with questions. The pool was a little cold in the mornings but with the hot sun on it all day, it was perfect in the afternoons. The beautiful landscaping and palm trees in the back yard made us feel like we were in our own private oasis. The home is very inviting and has all of the amenities we could ask for and in a nice and safe neighborhood. We look forward to going back there again in the future. Overall clean but outdated and clearly lived in by owner

This was a clean property over all. She seemed lovely to talk to on the phone and I think there might be a language barrier when people say she comes off aggressive in her reviews. She’s stern in her demeanor but I don’t believe it’s intentional. The living room furniture is very stained and very low to the ground, did not provide a relaxing environment. The spa and swimming pool were not heated (she did disclose that so we knew that) and we felt a bit uncomfortable that her personal belongings were spread out throughout the home. This seems to be a lived in home rather than an investment property. Other than that, she was really nice, home was overall clean, the backyard looked awesome and we weren’t in the home much… it did it’s job!

By renting this place, our visit has become the best. The place was exactly the same it was mentioned in the advertisement. Ms. Sigrid, she made us feel so welcome. She explained us everything so well. She offered us come snacks on arrival, few welcome notes and sweets. She was always available for any query. She allowed us to use her office space too. Talking about the house , it is fully equipped. Kitchen, it has everything in it. The variety of utensils etc. all the bedrooms were so clean, the bedding, bathrooms , towels . We were given everything so extra. The house is so clean, decorated with fresh colorful flowers,there were NO restrictions at all. Number of different board games, baking stuff, library, Telly ,swimming, spa etc.there is so much to do. Ma.Sigrid, is living in the outhouse, but she never disturb guests at all until you call her for help. Altogether, it was amazing to be here, she is an amazing host. Hope to visit this city again and to stay here would be a bonus. we would definitely recommend this place to stay.

No Privacy

It was odd from the very beginning. The homeowner was there in the home when we arrived and did not leave the property. She did stay in a separate suite on the other side of the garage. That was not mentioned to us until we got there. The home had all the smoke detectors taken down and no window coverings on several windows including the glass doors to the main bedroom and no doors on the main bathroom so everyone could see directly into the tub and shower area from the kitchen, eating area, and even from the backyard. We were also told we could not use the 3-car garage or the main part of the driveway closest to the home in January because she might leave and need to go in and out. There were wet washcloths and hand towels in the bathrooms. There are also smart devices around the home including in the main bedroom that had notes on them that said not to unplug or turn off. At this point, we left!
