Under Rachael’s Wing

This is a great getaway house just 1 mile from the river! Perfect place to go canoeing or trout fishing. Located only minutes from the trout hatchery and the famous Bennett Springs. The house has 2 queen size beds, 1 full size bed and a set of twin size bunk beds. We also have a roll away bed and a queen size air mattress available for use. The living room features a gas fireplace for a cozy romantic setting, WiFi with satellite and smart TVs. If you would rather relax outside, the hot tub located on the back patio is the perfect place to do so after a long day canoeing, fishing, or exploring. We also have a fire pit if you want to make some s'mores or just hang out and relax. The food plot located behind the house gives visitors the perfect opportunity to spot some deer or turkey. It may not be as fancy as some of the other rentals in the area, but it's our home away from home for our large family and we hope you enjoy it as much as we do!
There is also a camper plug available on site for more guests or for your own camper/rv.
Majestic Views Floats of Missouri has been great to work with us if you're looking to float the river! If you give them a call they will usually send a van to the house to pick you up and then drop you off when you're done!

Great property for a family float trip

The house was clean and well stocked. The hot tub was clean and perfect for relaxing at the end of a day on the river. The location is perfect for all of the local activities.

Trout fishing weekend

Located in a great spot not far from the river to fish. House was exactly like the listing. House was excellent, clean and very spacious. Plenty of parking, we had 4 pickups with still more room. Would stay here again in the future.

Father/son fishing trip

The place was very clean as others have mentioned. Check in was easy and the owner was quick to reply. Perfect location close to Bennett Spring and the Niangua River. Very nice cabin.

Weekend Trip

This was a great house close to Bennett springs for my family and friends to stay! Plenty of rooms for everyone and a large family room/dining room to fit all 9 of us together. We had a wonderful time and would stay here again.

We have stayed in this house for 5 years in a row now. It works well for the number of adults and kids we have between three families. Its about 20 minutes to Lebanon.

Family Fun

My family and I truly enjoyed our stay at Under Rachel’s Wing. There was plenty of space and we enjoyed the outdoor space also. The host was easy to work with and got back to us quickly when the area had a power outage. We look forward to staying there again.

Clean, Easy, Convenient

We had 11 total, 4 adults and 7 kids with ages ranging from 10 - 17. Was easy to find, very clean, and very convenient to local activities. The hosts were amazing and made everything very simple and were flexible. Would definitely stay again and recommend to any that want to stay.

Family Float Trip

The house was clean and supplied with everything we needed for a weekend trip to the river. We had a family float trip and the house was big enough for my 5 daughters and wife. Will be booking this house to stay in for our next float.

Bennett Springs Getaway

Our stay at Under Rachel’s Wings went really well. The property was as described and we had plenty of room for 3 couples. It was a short drive into the park. Very convenient. Justin was very responsive and easy to work with. I would definitely stay here again!

NRO Float trip — great location!

5 minutes from NRO campgrounds and office. Perfect for our float trip. VERY clean and comfortable. We had 2 teenagers planned for bunk beds but they were short. But put one on the comfortable BIG couch and So it worked out fine.

We had a great time. We were close to Bennett Springs and when done fishing came home to a hot tub. The place had everything. Only thing we couldnt find a hot pad to take things out of the oven.

It was close to our floating location, check in was easy and the home was clean, well-stocked and comfortable for everyone in my party. The only recommendation I would make would be new mattresses in the guest rooms. They were extremely hard and we are not as young as we used to be, lol.

Great location

Great location, close to several floating outfits, which is what we were down to do. Home fit 6 of us very comfortably and we loved that it had a hottub and firepit. The one shower is not ideal for short people as the spray is all over and no where to stand without being pelted in the face. 1 bed was hard as a rick, ome was pretty hard and one was just ok. The littles didn't complain about the bunks. Overall nice place for a weekend.

Husbands 50th Birthday Float trip

Our group of Friends stayed at Rachels wing Fri June 21-Sun June 23. The place was very clean and comfortable. The host was so great at communication that it made things easy. There was a miscommunication as it had it listed it had a murphy bed and did not but it was okay there were plenty of places to sleep. Believe it or not it was quiet despite it being right on the hwy. I appreciated also that we could get a private shuttle to the river via Majestic View. So much better having all this at your fingertips vs sleeping in a tent on a float trip. Would definitely stay again.

A short drive to Bennett Spring

We have been coming to, and staying in, Bennett Spring State Park for a number of years and quite frankly the accommodations haven’t been as great as they used to be. So this year we thought we’d check outside the park and found Under Rachael’s Wing. We had lots of room to spread out—nice dining room, a great outdoor patio, two bathrooms. But if you like to have a group working in the kitchen together this kitchen is not for you. It’s a galley kitchen open to the living and dining rooms for easy conversation, but too tight for a group in the actual kitchen. In spite of that we would definitely come again!

Great value

No frills clean house with great outdoor amenities. We enjoyed the hot tub, the electric grill and the firepit. Nice tabke and chair set outside. Biggest problem was tv stopped receiving signal halfway through visit. I called the host but he did not return the call. Well stocked kitchen was nice. Fan in one room did not work. I had to call vrbo to get the hosts number to call fir the kaypad code but he did return my call promptly.

A great getaway

We enjoyed our time. We were only 3 or 4 miles from Bennett Springs & 25 minutes from Lebanon, where we did a little antiquing. The location was good & I rated it overall good because it was good enough for us. I say that because if someone is really picky, they might not like this place. There were 2 bathrooms that made it handy but one of them had alot of mold on the shower head. We used vinegar & cleaned it really good though. The beds were ok but had plastic coverings under the sheets (which I totally get if I owned the place but not so comfortable to sleep on). The television was hard to figure out & the dvd player did not work. We finally did figure the tv out but it would be helpful to have instructions & to know which remote to use because there were 4 remotes in the basket. Anything we forgot seemed to be available in the house & we were appreciable at how it was stocked. Other than the one shower head, the house was very clean. We never used the back patio or hot tub so I can't comment on that. We only used 2 bedrooms, but it was set up for a large group with 4 bedrooms & multiple beds. We had good communication from the owner & it was easy to access the entry. There were clear notes on the rules & what we needed to do before we left. This was in a good location for us & it met our expectations. Again, I gave it 5 stars because for us it was, but for someone expecting "perfect" lodging, you might want to pick another place.
