"Very clean and comfortable room. Great bed, quiet area. Excellent breakfast. Short walk into town. I liked the option of not having the room serviced and receiving a free drink! The lift was a bit dodgy - very slow. Enjoyed my stay."

"Clean room, even though at the back you could hear the road traffic with the windows open. Breakfast in the room was good. For me only comment is that the mattress on the bed was too soft & slightly lumpy for me."

"What a find in a beautiful area. Short trip off the A1 and absolutely stunning pub with rooms. Rooms were great, comfortable clean and has everything you will need for a good stay. Dinner was really tasty. Didn’t stop for breakfast but can only imagine how nice it would be. Would definitely recommend and would stay next time I am in the area "

From the moment we arrived, Grantley Hall was a sensational experience. Issac holding the fort at the front gate, dressed impeccably, welcomed us like family and with so much energy it was like a shot of espresso! "There was an issue with my original room, nothing major. I was happy for it to be rectified but the check in staff immediately moved me to better room. All the staff were friendly and accommodating. Food was very good, both dinner and breakfast. Would stay here again. "
