"Staff was very helpful and friendly. Love the layout of the room. It was comfy and well equipped. WiFi was good. There was a large chip on the front edge of the desk so the condition could be better. The water in the swimming pool made all our eyes sting, I think there’s too much chlorine in it."

Yes, they have full English and continental tea and coffee but everything is of really low quality. And it was £259 for one night, definitely not worth that type of money. I’m not a fan of Travelodge or Premier Inn but the rooms and beds are bigger and better than this Hampton. Definitely felt ripped off at that price and won’t be returning. Not recommendable at that price. "

"Rooms are large and tidy, but the brown, dated décor makes the rooms look tired. Check‑in was polite but rushed, with no guidance on simple things like Wi‑Fi, breakfast or hotel facilities. Beds are on the firm side not as comfy as main competitor. Free parking nearby is the standout perk. "

Despite having the remnants of a cold, I had to take a cold shower to start my morning - which I felt for the rest of the day. Although I know there is nothing explicitly the hotel could do, they should have at least offered a discount or coupon or something. "
