"From arrival to departure, the experience was excellent. The hosts gave us a a lovely warm welcome and the room was exceptional! The modern fresh rooms were immaculate and included so many cute additions (fresh fruit, pastries & lavender). Will certainly be coming back and highly recommend for all travellers! "

"We received a really warm welcome from Sylvie in her beautiful home in the lovely village of Beuvron-en-Auge. Our room and bathroom were comfortable and pleasant with everything we needed, while breakfast, served on the terrace, was delicious with homemade cake and jams. An excellent address which we strongly recommend to anyone visiting this beautiful corner of Normandy."

"I liked the aesthetics, lounge area, Banksy silkscreens and the knotty pine floors. As for the shortcomings, poor television and media options,(no international news or film options), only a single chair if the sofa bed was being used, no toiletries, no coffe maker, no teabags. Staff were polite. "

"We were transferred to this hotel by Expedia when a problem occurred with our previous hotel in the local area. When we arrived at Les Manoirs, we were highly impressed by every aspect of the establishment. The staff were charming and professional. Our apartment was outstanding and spotless. The food in the restaurant was not cheap but it reflected the impressive quality and presentation of the meals. We swam, we played table tennis, we wandered around the grounds - everything was delightful. We...

"Lovely country property and pleasant hosts but the rooms are a bit old and the bed wasn't very comfortable.
Lovely setting in the french countryside and in the apple orchards"

"Beautifully clean apart/hotel. Rooms in newly decorated condition and facilities spotless. Friendly staff who despite our poor efforts at speaking French made every effort not to make us feel awkward. Our only criticism, and it is a minor issue, is that there was no English type tea! Rooms all had fruit flavoured teas supplied but would have been nice to have had good old English Breakfast tea too! We bought our own locally in the end so didnât go without!

"Sylvie is an excellent host. She received us, guided us to our room, and even got us a reservation for the best restaurant in town. The place is perfectly located near the center of the town."
"Delightful room to stay overnight to explore this postcard-picture village. Cramped bathroom and poorly ventilated shower room only slightly diminished the quality of the place which is right at the end of the pretty village street. Claire herself is delightful and breakfast was very nice. "
"The house in Beaufour-Druval near Deauville and Dozule was a great respite. Central hub location to Normandy coast (Deauville) or Honfleur to east and Bayeux to west. Grocery and bank in Dozule, as well as numerous restaurants 10-15 minutes away. Anne Marie was very pleasant, happy, energetic host. Very accommodating and helpful. She made restaurant reservations for us first night. She even baked a DELICIOUS fruit pie for us upon arrivalâŠHOWâS THAT FOR HOSPITALITY?! We did not have time to take advantage of on-site activities of pool, games, etc. Country kitchen had everything you need. Now for the downside just to keep future guests aware b/c listing does not show this. The stairs up to sleeping rooms is VERY STEEP. Sturdy railings to hold on to, but slow caution is warranted especially with young children or elderly guests.Bathroom sink and shower cramped, but workableâŠjust mind your head on low hang roof angles. The two toilet rooms (one up, one down) did not have adjacent sink, so you have to move to adjacent bath with sink or kitchen to wash hands. Host had hand sanitizer in the toilet room but just not the same. Straight forward check out process. Driveway entrance has steep section to roadway and low lying cars could bottom out undercarriage if not careful."
"Excellent personal service by Sebastien , nothing was too much trouble . Comfortable, homely surroundings , beautiful garden & facilities and the request for an early breakfast accommodated. "
