This was our third time staying there. While the furniture could be more comfortable, we don’t care because the property and the aesthetic make up for it. It’s an awesome place.
Our high school friends gathering comes here twice a year, and it's always a great time. The seclusion and privacy of the property is amazing, and being able to ride atv on the trails and shoot some guns because it's such a large plot of land the cabin sits on makes it a great guys trip destination.
Lovely cabin. Perfect winter stay to celebrate holiday w family. Dog did well. Kitchen was nice, location remote. Amish country. We saw a total of 11 buggies! even though it was very cold outside, the cabin was warm. A great place to stay! Will do it again!
We had a blast at this cabin. Our kids loved running around and riding their dirt bikes and four wheelers we also got to shoot some guns and just hang out and play some games and have a fire definitely want to come back. The cabin is situated in a very very peaceful setting
Nice spot, quiet with lots of walking trails.
We were disappointed the satellite TV and the gas fireplace did not work.
We would definitely rent this cottage again.
Quiet, secluded, comfortable cabin.
All accommodations were wonderful.
Basics were available & organized (linens, paper products etc) It was nice to have a washer & dryer as well.
I hope to rent again.
My family and I have had the opportunity to visit this cabin for years now and it never disappoints. Lovely place to get away and find some peace and quiet. Absolutely recommend!
This is our 4th visit, 3 in the winter and 1 in the summer. Winter is our best time as we make fires in the fire pit every day (weather permitting) . We walk the trails with our two golden doodles and they sometimes have more fun than we do!! I’m an avid hunter and love to shoot guns. Great time away!!! We will be back!!
The cabin was as advertised and did not disappoint. The location is absolutely fantastic with an abundance of peace and tranquility. We hiked, explored, did a little fishing but mostly got to spend much needed time away from the hustle and bustle of life with family.
It was just what we were looking for.... some major down time in the woods and a nice cabin with our dogs. Every day we would walk the trails on the property with our dogs. Very nice and relaxing and we didn't have to see one person! We will definitely go back.
We loved the property the minute we open the gate and drove down the driveway. When we opened the door we were amazed how beautiful and clean it was. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. We ventured out during the day driving around in Bald Eagle State Forest and found lots of scenic views and trails to drive through. The entire stay was fabulous looking forward to our next visit.
This is the absolute best place to stay. Everything you need is provided and there is even a washer and dryer. It's so peaceful there. My husband and I have stayed here at least 8 times, and each time is better than the last. This time we stayed for 2 whole weeks and would have stayed longer because of how relaxing it is. You have to try this place out. I guarantee you will want to go back.
Very nice log cabin style cozy home right on hundreds of acres of forest and trails. Neil was great and even stopped on New Years Day when we had trouble getting the fireplace to work. It didn’t matter as home is warm and comfortable. Nice peaceful place to relax and catch up with family.
