"The condo was very nice and the view was also gorgeous. The bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious and comfortable. However, the listing included a heated community pool, but it was closed for repairs. I was told that the owners only found out it was closed for the season the weekend before we arrived. They apologized and told us about the nearby beaches. I rented knowing of the beaches, but wanted a pool also. This rental fit the bill until we got there. Looking back at previous reviews, one renter in JULY expressed their dismay at the non functioning pool. I was renting at the end of August. I believe this owner should have at least reached out to me beforehand about the pool’s condition and not deceive me that they only knew of its condition days before. The house and area is lovely, but I would not stay there again, because of the pool deception. I believe I should get what I originally paid for."

"Perfect for my husband,myself and our dog. We loved having comfy seating on the deck to enjoy the morning sun. House is clean and comfortable. The private but near everything was perfect for what we wanted-ferry, Newport,great pottery and restaurants!"

"We had a great stay here! The hot tub was so much fun, and we really enjoyed the kayaks. The water right in the backyard was so clear and beautiful, and we got to see some amazing sunsets and sunrises right from the house.The kitchen had everything we needed, including lots of cookware, utensils, and even different seasonings and spices, which made cooking here really easy. The kids had a blast making s’mores too!The location was great, with grocery stores and restaurants just a short drive away. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely recommend it!"

"We had a nice multi-generational stay at this home which is very well located for adventures in Door County. We loved Ellison Bay - a fairly quiet community with a small beach and park (both walkable though if you’re taking beach chairs and equipment, you’d probably want a car). We highly recommend the onion rings at Mink River Basin and almost anything from the Blue Bear for brunch - both a short walk from the house. And then it was a quick drive to Seaquist Orchards (pick up some cherries) and Sister Bay (the Creamery had amazing ice cream). The deck space is lovely with a cowboy pool, a hot tub and a sauna (we found the sauna difficult to use but it might have just been us). One bedroom is directly off the kitchen so be aware of that from a noise perspective. And the bathroom on the first floor can only be accessed from that bedroom by walking through the kitchen. We liked the game room above the garage, especially with it having a full bathroom. The master bedroom upstairs had a very squeaky bedframe, hopefully that will be replaced. While the host was responsive to the issues that we encountered, there were a few delays in hearing back and lots of requests for more information, photos and videos. It wouldn’t make me hesitate before booking again."
