"This was a wonderful weekend getaway! We highly recommend this bed and breakfast. The staff, Claire and Nigel, are so kind and welcoming and we appreciated their hard work and hospitality! The views are fantastic. The location is ideal for exploring northern Wales and even western England. We will for sure be coming again! They also have alpacas and ducks and chickens which we enjoyed greeting each day! Breakfast was filling and phenomenally prepared, made-to-order."

"Such a quaint old Welsh building in a lovely rural setting just outside of the market town of Ruthin (it is in the middle of a static caravan park but a very pleasant one). A great location for exploring the many places to see around the area . Rooms are of a good size and well equipped. "It’s decent, needs a bit of maintenance work. Our room wasn’t super clean, bits in the bath and the cupboards had black marks on them. Hallways smelled a little of manure … The drinks were expensive too… Half the spa facilities were not working… Otherwise, the peacocks are a nice touch and the landscaping is beautiful. Staff are nice and helpful"

"Gavin and Christopher have put a lot of thought into giving you an enjoyable stay at the Manorhaus Ruthin. The rooms are decorated reflecting welsh designs. The dining room has beautiful sculptures. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfasts were delicious with a lot of choice. The coffee was excellent. Overall we had a great week end stay. The Manorhaus is only minutes walking into the centre where there are several excellent eateries/restaurants"

A few teething problems as we attended after a revamp, staff were very keen to help attend to these. "Check in was fast and efficient. The room was clean, although it only had a small window there was a door to the courtyard we could open. The bed was comfortable and we had a good nights sleep. The shower was fine and there was a good beverage tray with biscuits. Breakfast was quite chaotic with food not being replenished and tables not being cleared and cleaned. However the cooked breakfast was tasty."

"We had a lovely stay here! The property is beautiful, spacious, and offers amazing views. It’s also conveniently located,just a 20-minute drive to Llanberis. The host was fantastic, with great communication throughout our stay, and they left a thoughtful welcome pack with tea, coffee, wine, cakes, and more, which was a really nice touch. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others!"
