The room was very clean, in a quiet neighborhood and in close walking distance to the Paddington Train Station. It was great having lots of food options as well as a bit of night life at the Market Halls. There’s also a red line stop nearby that’s very convenient.
I have been staying at the Omega for about 20 years. Family run and same staff I got a great welcome after several year’s absence with Covid and my illness. Highly recommend this hotel. The passageways are tiny so don’t bring large suitcases! Very convenient to Paddington station which has Heathrow Express and Elizabeth line both terrific for getting around.
A good stay in a handy location close to Paddington. Rooms are what they are but looked to have been recently decorated. Breakfast was adequate and in my experience an unusual extra. Would stay again.
It was clean, the staff friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was ok, but not more than that. The room was small, at the fourth floor and there was no elevator, but I knew all that so it was ok for me.
The toilet/bathroom was really small and that I didn’t know. It made its function, but I would have preferred to see a picture of that in advance so I would know, rather than experience it when I’m there.
We had to rebook at the last minute and loved our week at the Omega. The bathroom is very small, but the beds are great, it's quiet, the staff are friendly, breakfast is plentiful and the location is extremely convenient. Thanks for a great stay!
Really lovely stay, staff were fantastic in particular the manager who was so attentive, had a mini panick attack thinking I’d had something stolen from my room and he was phenomenal about it, checked cameras and provided reassurance- turns out it was my forgetfulness in leaving the item at a previous location. The room was immaculately clean, comfy and excellent value for money. Would highly recommend staying here as it’s a great location and the staff are amazing.
Convenient location so close to paddington station, nice short walk to hyde park. Yes bathroom tiny but we read those reviews before booking and is manageable for a couple days, especially if you dont spend much time in the hotel anyway. Excellent service from the reception and the ladies who do the breakfast service. We had an amazing time in london and are happy we stayed in this hotel!
Nice hotel very close to Paddington’s station.
Professional yet friendly receptionist, he took my luggage at to room without me asking because he saw I have a tutor on my wrist.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
The staff was very friendly. The room was smaller than expected, but it was clean and I had no problems staying there. Amenities were shampoo, conditioner, and soap, so I recommend bringing your own. Thank you.
Firstly I was extremely grateful that The Omega’s flexibility for early check in upon request was a significant plus, allowing me to settle comfortably from a very early morning arrival .
The front desk staffs as well as breakfast attendant are all very warm and friendly, creating a welcoming experience for me .
As per described, The Omega is very convenient and accessible, making it very easy to explore surrounding area and access transportations.
Overall I had a positive experience and a satisfactory stay. The combination of friendly and helpful staff, comfortable stay and convenient location near Paddington station, makes it an excellent choice.
It met our basic needs, a bed for our heads and a bathroom…a very small bathroom that looked like and RV bathroom. But there was hot water for showers and a toilet and it met our needs. The staff was very friendly and helpful. And the close proximity to the underground metro was great. No lift, so use those legs and muscles to climb up the stairs with your luggage.

Disliked: Staff & service, room comfort
No air conditioning!
There is no air conditioning so even with a simple 20 degrees celsius the room was too warm.
The windows are very thin so noise of the night made it very hard to sleep.
Staff very friendly and free breakfast was more than welcome

It was clean, small but just big enough for one person. One huge inconvenience- no lift and if your room is on the 4th floor like mine was it’s a hell of a climb. The staff on duty offered help to carry suitcases though. I walked so much in London that after I want able to go down and back up again for tea or coffee which is on the ground floor. Maybe top floor rooms should have these in the room. Good

I was upgraded to a double room, but in spite of the upgrade the room was so small in size that it was unbelievable. There was hardly and space to walk around in the room. The bathroom was even smaller. I don’t think the advertised pictures are accurate tbh. Service wise, it was decent. I needed ice to treat an injury but was denied initially which was weird and my request to warm some packed food in a microwave was also denied. Overall 3/5
I very much enjoyed my stay at the Omega. It's location is extremely convenient, a five minute walk to Paddington station and a ten minute walk in the opposite direction to Kensington Gardens. Around the corner are handy shops, pubs and restaurants. The staff were pleasant enough and helpful, the breakfast was filling (fruit, yoghurt, boiled egg, cereals, various breads/toast cheese/meats tea/coffee). One thing to watch out if you're not able bodied or have trouble with stairs there is no lift/elevator, I'm not sure there are enough staff to help with luggage either. I was upgraded to a double room, which I was grateful for, but it was still smaller than expected. I'm 5'10 and the bed and shower felt small, if you're of bigger stature you may struggle. My room was clean and more than serviceable, towels and sheets were changed daily, the wifi was strong and worked well. My room faced the street and was quite noisy so I was glad to have earplugs with me. I always bring earplugs to any new place I stay, because you just never know. Overall I would highly recommend this no-frills hotel for a night or two. You're not going to get pampered, but you'll get a clean room, hot shower, comfortable bed and hearty breakfast. I'll definitely be coming back. I used to stay at the trendy Pilgrim around the corner, but I got pretty much the same experience at the Omega for half the price. 1) Bring earplugs 2) Be prepared to carry luggage upstairs. Hope this review helps!
