Stayed in one of the pods, very clean and spacious. Staff was great and I felt very safe and the location is the absolute best!!! Would highly recommend as it’s within walking distance of so much and public transit is right there.

Zedwell has two locations in picadilly square (very confusing). There is the location with the actual rooms, and the location with the pods. The pods were like coffins, stacked 3 high, and you could barely breathe in there. They have a little fan for ventilation but that makes noise. The mattress and sheets were comfortable at least. but honestly a traditional hostel would have been more comfortable. It is good if you spend very little time sleeping and you dont mind the place smelling like a locker room. The bathrooms were unisex with stalls for toilets and for showers. But there were way too many doors in between the sleeping area and the bathroom, I counted 4 doors, and it was very hard to naviagate around the space. I did like the soothing music in the bathroom, which offered a bit of respite from the smell of poo.

Fantastic location, bed itself is super comfortable, the light, socket for charging and the air con are great. My advice is take your own towel and make sure you have shower get/soap as the dispensers in the shower were empty both mornings.

Overall, the stay was pleasant. An excellent location with easy access to train stations and nearby shopping. Individuals who are heavier should be warned that this is not a friendly environment as the showers had very small entry ways. The washrooms were somewhat dirty, but with such a high traffic area, it is hard to maintain. There are not individual temperature controls in the pods and the summertime can be hot if you’d like to close the pod door.

Really good you have to pay for any extras like towels, it's just a bed duvet pillow but it's cheap, and in central London so that's to be expected. Staff were really friendly and helpful, as quiet as most hotels but still worth having earplugs. Bring your own padlock they're not provided, basic ones can be sourced nearby at boots but they aren't great quality.

Location was perfect. Well connected to Tube and walking into central London. Room was lovely and clean. Provided bedding and small towel. Staff were helpful but seemed a little shy/tired. Was in a female only dorm. Felt very safe and pod can be locked from inside and outside. Only downsides were that vending machines weren’t working. It meant at 23:00 heading across the road to McDonalds to get a bottle of water. Also pods can be a little stuffy. You either need to sleep with the fan on (which is noisy) or the pod door open.
