"We had superior rooms on the second floor with wonderful views. They were clean and comfortable, though the room service was a little careless. The second floor is accessed via 2 long stair cases. Quite an effort for 2 old codgers with cases. Staff were helpful and polite. This is more like a large pub with rooms, though popular with the locals and always busy, probably due to reasonable prices. All in all ,a good experience. Love Ross."

"Room was very spacious with lovely outlook . Bathroom enormous with roll top bath. Breakfast choice excellent and well cooked. Hosts Jon and Celia very welcoming and informative. Property is out of Ross but easily walkable within 20 mins. Highly recommended."

"There are definitely some quirks to this cottage, but it’s clean, comfortable, and well equipped. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Ideally located for shops, pubs, and restaurants in the town, as well as plenty of places to visit near Ross-on-Wye for days out and walks. We’d recommend staying here, and if we come back to Herefordshire would be very happy to book Columbine Cottage again."
