I really enjoyed that it was a fun guessing game to see if I at the correct property. The name on the booking site did not match any of the signs. The feel of the place, gives GTA vibes with the clientele that seems to frequent this location. Even saw what appeared to be a lovers quarrel or at best two relatives that felt strongly for each other but still wanted to exchange some significant strikes. My favorite part was the lovely sounds through out the night of doors slamming, and people screaming. Who needs white noise when it sounds like youโ€™re in a scary movie? Aside from the place being dirty, hot water not working, and chaos outside, this place will get the job done. My only stars go to the staff who were nice and friendly.

The property was okay and about what we expected for the price we paid. The room itself was fine, although the pictures online definitely make the property look much nicer than it actually is. We arrived after 11:30 PM, and the front desk attendant made us feel like we were inconveniencing him simply by checking in that late. The biggest issue, however, was the noise from the room above us. It literally sounded like a herd of elephants walking around upstairs. It became so disruptive that I had to look up the hotelโ€™s phone number and call the front desk from my room. The noise toned down somewhat after I called, but it still continued. I wasnโ€™t finally able to fall asleep until around 2:30 AM. Overall, the property was acceptable for the price, but between the late-night noise, the less-than-welcoming check-in experience, and the property not quite living up to the online photos, our stay was disappointing.

Check in was okay for last minute booking. Room looked presentable at first. There was a random cut cable hanging from the TV. The sink had not been thoroughly cleaned: there were spots which looked like some body fluid and there was a hair which lead me to find lots of hair all over the floor. I was in a rush bc I needed a room for just a night so I just kept my slides on when I was walking around. The sink didnโ€™t have any had soap, just two almost empty dispensers with shampoos or conditioners. The bathroom seemed clean enough, oddly no hair on the floor in there but the shower was crusty. The water flow and controls were fine. The control for the window shade did not work at all. The internet connection kept dropping out. The key card and door lock worked fine as did the ac unit. Stayed on a Sunday night, no noise issues.
Gross spots on the sink
Obvious hair on the sink
Hair all over the floor

I was itchy sleeping there. Not very clean. Staff is nice, the window blinds never work. The free croissants are nice for breakfast. But the towels are nasty, water pressure is weak. And I donโ€™t like the low profile beds. Floor is dirty
