Another wonderful stay at Petit Ermitage. The customer service is always exceptional, from the front desk to the rooftop and restaurant teams. Everyone is genuinely warm, attentive, and makes you feel right at home. The rooftop pool is always such a beautiful escape, the food is consistently excellent, and the overall atmosphere is pure magic. It’s one of the few places that keeps me coming back again and again. This is one of my favorite hotels to stay at for my regular staycations. The rooftop is the perfect place to relax and enjoy yourself and definitely a place where you can feel comfortable talking with other guests. My only annoyance was the $50 corkage fee for opening and drinking the wine that came in my room, on the rooftop. I’ll definitely be checking in a few more times this year though :) Highly Recomend.

This property needs significant updates. The rooms are dark and dated, with flickering overhead lighting that creates an unsettling atmosphere. The air conditioning unit is a window-mounted unit that appears unstable and could fall out at any moment. While the staff was friendly and well-intentioned, there were consistent communication issues with even basic requests, which made the stay frustrating. The property's overall condition feels run-down and poorly maintained. For the price point, I expected much better. I would not recommend this hotel and will not be returning.

I loved my room and the amenities during my stay here, but I chose to rate the property 3 out of 5 stars because of my experience there as a person of color. I received a lot of negative interactions by both staff and guests, perceivably because of my skin tone. While other POC employees were very friendly, the intentional delays of service and derogatory comments (in both English and other languages they thought I wouldn’t understand) by white employees and fellow guests in the lobby and on the elevator would make me think think twice about choosing this venue if you are not white. Also, be wary of extra service charges added to the bill, whether you utilized room service or not.
