"This is our second year traveling to Munich for Oktoberfest and staying at the Maritim. The staff at the front desk is very nice and friendly. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. The breakfast is consistently fresh, plentiful and they offer a nice variety of options. The piano bar is always relaxing and the staff is friendly. My only and single complaint about this hotel is the location. While it is centrally located and within walking distance to the city center, the train station is directly across from this hotel and you will see sketchy characters at all hours of the day and night."

"Very clean and central hotel in Munich. No frills but if you are exploring Munich all day I recommend as a great base. The local area is a bit dodgy but as long as you are aware it’s fine and also a quick walk to train station from airport"

"The train from the airport stops off at the Isator/Marienlatz stations which are quite close. Really close to historic Munich. The reception staff spoke English and were very helpful. In a really nice neighbourhood. In the breakfast room I enjoyed the photos of the glamorous European actors who have previously stayed."
