Wonderful find for a one night stay. Pros were the pool and pool area, close to. Lucca proper, clean and large room, and excellent air conditioning. Cons were that there was no breakfast even though they're listed as a B&B, no room safe and a shower that worked well. But even with these minor cons, I would totally stay again. Yes the rooms are older but no matter. The staff were excellent, bed was comfy and did I mention how much I loved the pool!? Thank you for a great stay.

Very little information regarding the facilities. We were told, that there would be breakfast available, but there wasn't. Also very sporadic times for the reception. It says, that it is open from 10:30 until 18:30 but we rarely saw anyone. You would have to call someone and then check in over the phone. But a small walkingtour from the city and a supermarket nearby was great :) Also the pool made it worth it. I just wished that the communication would have been better.

Initially was very good the first man we dealt with was so kind and helpful and our room was ready. However I wasn’t too happy with the condition of the pool as it was filled with bugs. The next day we were struggling to get a taxi from the location and asked another man behind the counter if he could help us as we couldn’t get through to anyone and the apps weren’t working, he just gave us a number which also didn’t work and that was that we then had to walk 45 minutes with bags to try get a taxi to the airport. Very mixed emotions on this one but regarding the price for the one night I wasn’t impressed.

Improvement should be possible. It took us half an hour to get in, at 1630, so not really a complicated time, I received 5 emails the week before; "what time do you arrive" and answered 4 times; between 1600 and 1700, the "answer" button does not work!! (Expedia problem??) but I found ways to answer, then I received back answers like; "you will find the key to your accommodation, inside the blackbox a the right on the door. Code 811"(which was a wrong code) and "Ok. Write US on -----------" and "please write us on ----------- for check in" all very cryptic, no idea what was meant. Anyway when we finally followed a cleaning person we followed and entered the gate (no doorbell at the gate) (no doorbell at the entrance) after calling once more, and getting the blackbox open there where 4 keys, but I did not have my room number. Once more calling them it appeared......... .........they where inside the hotel! Furthermore no breakfast available (until the 1st of may)

Tendenzialmente il posto può andar bene, solo che c’è la reception dalle 14:00, si comprendono poco le regole e rispetto alle aspettative per me non le ha soddisfatte. Al telefono molto gentili, mi hanno risolto alcuni inconvenienti e il personale delle pulizie molto disponile, però guardando le foto mi ero fatto un’altra idea io.

Ikke å anbefale!

Absolutt ikke fornøyd med oppholdet. Innsjekk gikk greit, da vi kom på kvelden. Nøkkel var i boks utenfor. Dagen etter gikk jeg for å lete etter resepsjonen, men fant ingen resepsjon eller skilting til en. Tok 7 dager før noen sa hei til oss... Veldig ustabil WIFI, ikke mulig å bruke til å lese nettavis engang. Helt ubrukelig til streaming av filmer osv. Var ikke noe restaurant eller bar som det står det skal være. Minibar var defekt. Måtte sove med ørepropper fordi den bråket så mye. Det var mugg/sopp i dusjen og dusjforhenget var ødelagt. Renholdet var generelt dårlig, med mye støv på overflater og ting i kroker. Fungerer kanskje for en natt, men absolutt ikke verdt prisen for flere netter.

Es ist sehr ruhig. Die Klimaanlage im Zimmer ist sehr gut, großes weiches Bett. Das Wasser im Pool hat die richtige Temperatur. Man kann hier gut parken, mit Auto und Motorrad. Die Leute sind nett. Man sollte aber Sportschuhe anziehen, wenn man in die Stadt will, denn das dauert eine halbe Stunde oder ein bisschen mehr (wenn man, so wie ich, nicht mit dem Bus fahren will).

Super goede prijs kwaliteitverhouding. Kamer bevat een heerlijk groot tweepersoonsbed, goede airco en een kleine koelkast. Wij zijn aangenaam verrast. Binnen 15 minuten loop je naar de poort van Lucca maar ook prima uitgangspunt om andere dorpen met de auto te bezoeken. Wij zijn gaan Canyonen in de Lima rivier, hele grote aanrader! Kan al met kinderen vanaf 10 jaar. Als ik een minpuntje moet noemen is dat het zwembad niet heel schoon is.

Avoid room 3 check in advance balcony allocation

Our booking confirmed a room with balcony and garden view, we were given on arrival a small ex permanent resident room tainted by heavy smoking oudour. We asked to be moved and we're allocated a more pleasant alternative but again with no balcony a feature we looked forward to utilising. We could not understand why our timely placed booking did not secure the type of room confirmed. The local reception staff did not offer explanation. We enjoyed our stay and the facilities but the issue with the room allocation taints our overall opinion

Excellent staff! Extremely clean. Alejandra and her team are available 24/7 to go beyond any expectations. Kids very happy with the pool, tennis table and chillout for adult. Walking distance to one of the most charming city globally. Highly recommended.

Bon rapport qualité prix à Lucca

Chambre spacieuse et propre. Le jardin et le coin piscine sont agréables. Si vous voulez prendre le petit déjeuner il faut réserver la veille. Il faut systématiquement prendre la voiture l’environnement immédiat de l’hôtel n’est ni charmant ni typique. Il faut juste quelques minutes en voiture pour rejoindre Lucca.

Good budget stay

Very friendly and helpful lady who met us on reception. Gave lots of tips about local area and map to orientate. Room was large and clean and bathroom had everything we needed. Quite lot of noise from youths on the street until late. Breakfast was plentiful and served with a smile,

El hotel está en el polígono industrial. Aparcamiento gratis. La recepción se cierra a partir de las 19.30, pero dejan las llaves. La habitación muy cómoda. La mujer de la recepción - muy amable y simpática. El desayuno - muy bién. Una estancia agradable.

The best place to stay in Lucca

Amazing stay. The owner Christian was so welcoming and generous. The location was perfect, no more than 10 mins from the centre of Lucca and the rooms were extremely comfortable. I look forward to coming back and staying again soon.

big cold rooms but not close to old city

a bit removed from the main action inside the walled city. nothing within walking distance like restaurant or market. but you can rent a bike at the hotel so you can get to the old city faster, and then not have to rent one there, likely at a higher price. BTW renting a bike and riding around the top. also wifi was VERY weak. i got email in and out on phone, but tablet could only receive messages
