"Our first time in Argentina, and our stay at Viamonte has inspired us to return. This resort has exceptional hospitality and perfect location if you choose to utilize the bike trails through the valley, or walk to restaurants (although their own on-site restaurant is very good with spectacular Andes view). Don't understand why October is considered low season, but no complaints on rates - a true value, and the weather was perfect. While we prefer to supply our stock with Douro reds versus AR malbecs, the Mendoza rose is enjoyable and Patagonian gins were surprise discovery. Viamonte rooms are nicely appointed and beautiful grounds. We also stayed in chichi boutique hotel in Buenos Aires, but preferred the clean elegance of Viamonte. Highly recommend. "

"We stayed for a week, seems like it was a nice place years ago but is now starting to look and feel run down. Breakfast was limited. The room had lots of cracks appearing, mold in the bathroom, barely hot water."

"Spacious, bright, great view. Well stocked kitchen for cooking. You need to buy butter and olive oil etc. Near wineries. Have a car or you'll take a lot of uber. You can hear cars from the busy street nearby. Matias is very responsive and helpful. There is a restaurant across the street, which is excellent. Say hi to Daira."
