"Great place to stay in Condesa! Booked through Expedia and did not run into any issues at check-in. They did not require a credit card hold or a rental deposit (despite seeing reviews about this). Staff were very friendly and professional (though not super fluent in English). The area was very safe. You do have to buzz into the main entrance every time, which is a bit annoying. But the security staff are there 24/7. Loved how there were free bike rentals and free laundry facilities in the basement. They offer housekeeping if you need. "

"La habitación muy limpia y bien equipada. El personal amable y agradable. La linea 9 del metro está a unas cuantas cuadras y te deja justo fuera del palacio de los deportes. Solo tuvimos 2 detalles. Se escuchaba mucho ruido del exterior y al agua caliente no era consistente. Fuera de eso el lugar increíble."

For example, if you ask the concierge to organize a hot air balloon ride for 2 the provider will likely have difficultly processing a direct payment and will bill the hotel -- who will in turn add 17% to the charge just for the convenience. None of this is sufficiently explained up front, so you'll be in for a big and irritating surprise when you review your bill at checkout.
