The man who checked us in was incredibly helpful and friendly. The room could use a fresh look but was clean. We ate dinner in the restaurant and it was amazing! Only big thing was the area for drop off is a nightmare and the area it’s in is a little sketchy.

We had a quick one-night stay in the hotel after a late train and before an early arrival. It was very easy to walk to the hotel from the train station. We ordered room service and it was excellent. The breakfast buffet looked nice but we just had a coffee. Would recommend for anyone that needs to stay near the train station!

Nice room got upgraded :-). Really nice restaurant had a lovely dinner. The breakfast had no fruit no vegetables :-(. Can’t park outside the entrance :-(. The garage really narrow.

The location is walking distance from Lyon Part Dieu station which make it very convenient when we arrived by high speed train, even with luggage. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. Nearby is Westfield mall which is just 15 min walk.

Rooms were great with comfortable beds; secure and quiet. Hotel is in a very good location with 1 minute walk to nearby train station (Gare de Lyon Part Dieu) and 10 minute walk to Westfield shopping mall via the train station. We were a party of 4 and the hotel stored all our luggage for us 5hrs prior to 3pm check-in; however, the staff did not do us the courteous of allowing early check-in, and made us wait until the standard 3pm check in time, which could and should have been shortened by at least 1 or 2 hours, give this is 4 star hotel catering primarily to tourists travelling via train. So that was disappointing, as we were very tired from travelling; we ended up waiting in the Westfield mall and train station. Given above, this particular hotel should be more flexible and understanding in specific circumstances and give certain people some consideration. There is no need to be so rigid. They could easily have accommodated our request for check in around 1pm or so, and they chose not to. This service is not expected from the 3 star hotels, but it is expected some effort be made when checking in to a 4 and 5 star hotel. Restaurant in hotel was very good cuisine and highly recommend it; just be careful when ordering - their 7 appears as the number 1, so for example a bottle of wine is 75 euro, not 15 euro, and so on We otherwise recommend this hotel, if you don't have any special requests or expectations.

We stayed here for 2 nights before catching our train at the station next door. It was perfect for that reason. It was also close to a mall that had decent restaurants to choose from. Room was obviously an old building, but it was updated with paint and comfortable chairs. Bed was comfy. Everything was clean and the room was quiet. Although the hotel had a restaurant the rooms only had paper cups for hot drinks in the room, which seemed a bit odd. It worked though. With extremely hot temperatures the room was not as cool as we like, but not sure there was anything to be done about that. The AC was working, though.

Decent location, nice staff, strange decor/style which seemed to really date the property. The air conditioning barely cooled down the room. The bathroom curtains are very sheer and so it was extremely hot in the bathroom, even at 10am with the blazing sun on a high floor. It was 30 degrees C during our 1 night stay in May so quite miserable sleeping/showering.
