Top Madison Campground Hotel Reviews

Gray Wolf Inn & Suites

Gray Wolf Inn & Suites

8/10 Good
"Our brief stay was fine. Room was brand new and clean. A few workers finishing trim in hallways. Pool was closed for maintenance issues (told could drive elsewhere but hard to do that at night with young kids). Did not know about the free laundry that other reviews mention. Insufficient parking at night and very small refrigerator in room probably main issues; we didnt find the microwave until on the way out as it was covered by panel. No breakfast options and only free beverage was hidden water bottle filler on 1st floor. Very close to everything including Yellowstone gate, restaurants, small grocery store."

Starlite Yellowstone, Tapestry Collection by Hilton

10/10 Excellent
"The location was great, the restaurant was very good, and everything was clean. We especially loved the back patio with the fire table. The hotel provided s’mores kits and skewers, which the kids really enjoyed! The game room was another great perk, especially since it was free to use. The pool with the slide was also a big hit with the kids. The only downside to the pool was the strong chlorine smell. The kids were fine with it, but it irritated my eyes, so I couldn’t stay in the pool area for very long. The rooms were nice, but not exceptional. The beds were a little too firm for our liking, and there could have been more places to hang towels and clothes. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and especially appreciated the family-friendly amenities and activities."

"This place had a wonderful atmosphere and felt very welcoming and cozy. The staff were extremely polite, on the first night they even offered to keep the fitness room open late since we had a late arrival and wanted to utilize the amenities. All of the staff members were always very helpful and friendly. Our room was well kept and very clean, which I appreciated a lot since I am a bit of a picky person. If you're coming to visit the park, this is definitely the place to be."

"Nicer private cabin to stay in West Yellowstone. Bed was comfortable. Stayed in August so enjoyed that it had a/c. Could've did without the black mold growing on the caulk in the shower!"

"Our room was very clean, and we had plenty of towels and pillows. There was no in-room fridge. An ice bucket was in the room, but you had to take it across the street to the main office to get ice. Staff never returned a phone message I left. We would stay there again because of its proximity to Yellowstone and the other offerings in town, but I would bring a larger cooler so I could buy ice."
