"It's an interesting place to stay for sure, love the vintage vibe however the neon beer signs in the windows at the restaurant kill that vibe a lot. I would definitely take the neon signs down. Not too expensive and close to downtown Portsend which is great! "

"I appreciated the commitment to stay with the period of the hotel, but the wardrobe was useless in hanging clothes and no drawers."

"The staff we interacted with were great and the room was really clean. Unfortunately, that is all the positives we can really find. Our room was right on a walkway & by the parking area so you can hear anyone walking by or in the parking lot. The walls are so thin we could hear our neighbors using their microwave, talking and using the bathroom. There is no fan in the bathroom so showering was interesting because you could open the window for some ventilation but the blinds didn’t close all the way. This had us getting dressed outside of the bathroom which created another challenge. While the water view is nice we were in a ground floor room so we had people walking by our room on the beach/rock area just on the other side of our deck. We had to keep the curtains/blinds closed so we weren’t seen by the people walking by. Unfortunately, we won’t be staying here again."

"The house is just wonderful. The location is fabulous. Easy walking to restaurants stores in the waterfront. The house is Uber clean, very open, lots of room for all the stuff we brought with us, a big wonderful kitchen. I love this place. I’ve stayed here for years. "
