"This HGI was brand new, very clean and the staff was wonderful. We could walk to downtown from there. They also we setup to be truly dog friendly."

"My room and bathroom were nice and clean but the stairwell could use some attention. Breakfast was adequate but my juice came out of the machine a bit watery. Staff fantastic from the front desk to cleaning service, even though they entered my room 3 hours before checkout time. They were very apologetic for disturbing me."

"Plenty of parking. The rooms were clean and appeared to be pretty newly remodeled. The only issue with the room was the lack of outlets. There was only 1 outlet by the bed that had the alarm clock plugged into it. The only other accessible outlet was next to the chair, hut there was nowhere to put devices as they were being charged."

"If you’re looking for a funky local stay, this is the place to go. Dog friendly, great food, beer on tap, excellent owners. Since the building is super old, noise from neighbors could potentially be a problem, but they provide a fan AND earplugs! They mentioned the elevator would be done soon, too, so a big plus for those staying in the future. (But we didn’t mind the stairs!)"

"This is the nicest Holiday Inn Express we've stayed at in many years of travel. The only thing that wasn't really nice was the need to replace the carpet in the elevators. The breakfast space was really nice, as was the reception area and "living room" with a TV. Our room was great. The housekeeping staff was also great."

"The new owner is wonderful! The whole trip was just perfect. The historical home was beautiful, well maintained, an antique lovers paradise. We feel very fortunate to have found such a treasure for our little get away! Jeanne was a delight and her hosting skills are amazing with a delicious breakfast, awesome charcuterie and wine, and tons of ever growing knowledge on Trinidad. Will definitely be back!"
