"About 30 minutes away from Heraklion, so I would recommend renting a car. You can arrange a taxi, but it’s better to have your own transportation on the island. Food was a bit hit or miss. Breakfast had a large spread- I didn’t know until after the fact but you can request an omelette or fresh eggs. Room was lovely and we enjoyed being in a hot tub suite! "
