"It is a spectacular property with amazing location next to the Catheral and the best shopping and restaurants in Palma. Beautifully refurbished rooms with very comfortable bed, good sized rooms, great AC when it’s hot, great showers with strong water pressure and lots of hot water. Most of all lovely staff who are always pleasant and commited to customer service. Highly recommend this hotel. We are coming back."

"The room was very clean and a nice size for a double room. They have a little self service spot area, which is nice for those who like that. There are no amenities )toothbrush, toothpaste, shower, cap, etc.) in the room, bring your own items but other than that, that’s the only negative. Will definitely come back!"

"One of the nicest hotels with the best staff I have ever stayed at and far from the most expensive. My one critique is their 3rd party providers. The massages they offer are a 3rd party off site and werent great (especially for the price) and the car rental companies they reccomend add some hidden fees. "Double Sea View Room. I will qualify this by saying that it may just be us, but at this price point we expected much better. Perhaps for this location it's more of a budget hotel? They put us on the first floor (one up from street level). Really lousy view, trees, cars, 2 light poles shining into our room, but you can see the boats. Being so low we saw almost no horizon and really no view (definitely better than facing another building, but we wouldn't consider it a "Sea View"). Being so low, lots of road noise but they have double patio doors which block most of it, if you are happy to keep them closed. Everyday we had sewer gas entering the room from the shower drain; covering it with a plastic bag and bath mat helped but didn't eliminate the problem. With a connecting door to the adjacent room you can clearly hear conversations and even snoring, but the neighbours were pretty good. Also some plumbing noises from other rooms. We stayed at 3 other hotels on Menorca and Mallorca, this was the most expensive and the only one without a Nespresso machine. In fairness we knew that in advance, but it would be an improvement. We hate writing negative reviews, and again, perhaps we expected too much. Hope it helps."

"Unfortunately, this hotel was missing many of the fine details you would expect from a five star property. On our first night, we were woken at 11:30pm by room service delivering an order we had not placed, as they had mixed up the room numbers. When we raised this with the front desk the following morning, very little action was taken beyond a brief apology. The rooms also lacked the level of comfort and quiet you would expect at this price point. The doors felt thin and offered very little soundproofing, meaning we could hear almost every bit of noise from the hallway while trying to sleep. The bedding was also very average, with flat pillows and a mattress that did not feel particularly luxurious. It was very clean and had really nice decor. The pool was great. Overall, the experience fell short of the standard I would expect from a five star hotel. It lacked the attention to detail, comfort and service recovery that should come with the rating and price. Unfortunately, I would not return, which is a shame as I had high hopes."

"We are really selective when it comes to travel. We had the suite (Room 409), directly outside the pool entrance. The hotel was brilliant. Great location. Great food. Gym and Sauna was empty when i used it everyday. The Cinema was no longer in operation, which we did'nt know until we asked to use it. Layout of the hotel is great and really great location to the city and old town. First time with HM and was really impressed."
