So Enjoyable
We have stayed @ this resort before but our first time in Lakeview Cabin. Loved all of the updates. The view of the lake and the changing trees was lovely.
Overall, we had a great stay and we hope to come back to a cabin @ Alderwood Resort. We love the area.

Beautiful resort!
We have been coming to Elderwood for a few years. It is a place that has a lot to offer - peaceful setting on the lake, an opportunity to fish, go biking on some amazing trails, play pickleball in Manitowish Waters. Our cabin is always very clean and inviting. I would definitely recommend Elderwood as a great place to stay on a vacation!

First stay
This was my first stay and I loved it the cabin was clean and had everything needed except for food My wife died a little over a year ago and we would go to St Germaine every year and I want to still do that fishing was good and even tho there were other people around it was not noisy and I made some new friends from it the staff that I had contact with was nice and kind. I loved my first visit so much that I rebooked for next year already.

Perfect Northwoods get away
I love Alderwood! This was my 5th year and I hope to keep the tradition alive and continue visiting every year.
We really love the area. So many hiking/canoeing spots nearby. We do something different everyday and have not even come close to running out of beautiful places to see nearby.
The cabins are stocked well and very comfortable. Having a private dock on the lake is really nice. We love laying on the dock and looking at stars at night.

True 'Upnorth' Experience
This was our 2nd stay at Alderwood Resort, we can’t wait to return. We stayed in the Lakeview cabin which sits atop a hill overlooking the lake. The property and cabins are not only beautiful, but very clean and meticulously maintained. Many amenities are provided free of charge, including firewood and the use of kayaks and row boats. Our favorite memory was sitting on our private dock watching the rise of the Harvest Moon…doesn’t get any better.
Thank you ~

A perfect up-north getaway filled with fishing, s’mores, and unforgettable family memories.
We had such a fun and meaningful trip with our three girls ages 6, 4 and 1! Our cabin (Lakeview) was cozy and the property was exactly what you look for when thinking of “up north” resort. We had a wonderful time playing boardgames, fishing, playing on the playground, swimming, canoeing and exploring the Manitowish Waters area. We attempted to keep the devices away but the only problem was there were so many photo opportunities that we had to keep bringing them back out. (bringing a separate camera next time!). It was everything you’d hope for in a northern Wisconsin adventure! We’ll be talking about this one for years to come.
