I was expecting more for the price we paid, it is a hotel only to sleep, nothing interesting to do, no coffee, tea or water in the room. Service was good, the staff was very nice and kind always open to help.

Hotels in a good location however, for me parking was inconvenient because I always had to stop and go inside. Asked him to open the gate for me to drive around to go inside and with the traffic that was very hectic throughout today.

This was my second time at this property.. and I try to give everyone the benefit of the doubt.. but This last stay was the icing on the cake.. Two of the hotel Front Desk Agent were horrible.. I have been visiting Manizales not only to enjoy the beautiful countryside but to final the documentation for my fiancé.. I book the room for two people and on various occasions we used the hotel as a pit stop to come and shower and change for out next adventure or outting... on 2 separate occasions the staff openly accused my fiancé as being a workings girl and wanted to deny her entry to the hotel.. one even had the nerve to come to my room late one night inquiring of when will she be leaving.. being that my spanish is little .. I didn't realize all the insults that had been made until after I told the desk clerk to leave my door... this is totally unacceptable and if that's how they treat all tourists.. I hope no one ever books with them again.. because I will never book with them.. I share this with the desk clerk that actually was helpful to me.. he apologized but the damage was done.. I am sure nothing will happen to those two .. which is sad.. besides a terrible parking system.. the hotel is nice.. they just treat foreigners very very rudely!!'

Uncomfortable Stay

The overall stay was okay but the toilet kept not working! There was no heat and the breakfast was very skimpy! I normally like to stay at the BEST HOTEL whenever I stay in a new city and I was told Hotel Varuna was the best hotel in Manizales, which I find hard to believe. I definitely won’t stay there again.

Hotellet är beläget i den nya delen av staden med flera restauranger och unga människor i rörelse. Frukosten var mycket bra med musli ,youghurt bröd pålägg mm och framförallt massor med frukt. Bra wifi rymligt rum mex plats för 4. Enda nackdelen är att den supertrevliga personalen är mycket begränsad i sin engelska
