Loved our stay here. The staff were honestly so kind and helpful the whole time ,they really made us feel at home. Breakfast was always fresh and really nice, and the location was perfect for exploring the medina without being right in the chaos. It just felt comfortable, welcoming, and easy.

Absolutely gorgeous Riad, wonderful service - Walid took absolutely amazing care of our family and went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. The breakfast on the rooftop terrace was wonderful. Would highly recommend!!

Very clean in all areas. Rooms welcoming with kettle, tea & coffee and safe. Staff fantastic, they couldn’t have done more and nothing was too much. They helped us plan our itinerary and gave helpful advice on the local area. The hotel is in a great location. Breakfast consisted of a selection of local foods and special requests were met.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about this property. From the front desk lady (I forgot her name) to Muhammad, the service was impeccable. The hotel is nestled quietly in the middle of the Medina. It is decorated in true authentic Moroccan style. The breakfast is superb. Please stay at this hotel. You won’t regret it.

I lovedddee everything about this Riad. It was my first time in Morocco and it most definitely won’t be my last. I stayed with my sister and Abdolle made the experience no other than special. He kept repeating this is your home do as you please and made us feel so welcome. Huge thank you to Abdolle!! Another shout out to the security who made sure we got home safe everytime. When we went out for nightlife they assured us we would be okay to get back into the riad and that we did. The area is very quiet at night other than the main area/ medina. Could feel uneasy by yourself but nothing actually scary everyone looks out for everyone and made sure that you are taken care of. The Riad can order taxis for you or if you leave out the main area there are taxis waiting for rides. If you are afraid of cats I personally wouldn’t come just due to the surplus amounts of them but they don’t come near you without you wanting their attention all super friendly and super cute. Come with MAD ready to spend in the souks that is a very quick walk from the riad and be prepared to bargain. Once again thank you Abdolle we will be back for a longer time and more guests ;)

A Hidden Gem in the Heart of Marrakech From the moment I stepped into Riad Nelia, I was transported into a world of calm, beauty, and warm Moroccan hospitality. Tucked away just a short walk from the bustling souks and Jemaa el-Fnaa, this riad is a true oasis in the medina. The architecture is stunning—thoughtfully restored with elegant traditional touches and modern comfort. My room was immaculate, beautifully decorated, and offered a sense of peaceful retreat after a day of exploring. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, always ready with a smile and helpful recommendations. Every detail was taken care of with such care and professionalism. One of the highlights of my stay was the delicious breakfast served on the rooftop terrace—fresh, flavorful, and with a view that made each morning special. I also took part in the cooking class offered by the riad, which was a fun and enriching experience I’d highly recommend. Riad Nelia doesn’t just provide accommodation—it offers a full, authentic Moroccan experience. I felt like a guest in someone’s beautiful home rather than a tourist. I will absolutely be returning, and recommending it to anyone looking for charm, comfort, and a personal touch in Marrakech.

We had a great experience with the staff for the most part except when asking about certain things and getting told it ‘works- it works! We stayed here for over $300/night and were very disappointed. The air conditioning didn’t work all night despite multiple reports to staff, and we both felt sick from the heat the next day. We were told a technician would come several times but nothing was resolved. The Wi-Fi didn’t work for an entire day, so we had to spend a lot on mobile data. Breakfast was underwhelming — mostly pastries — and on our last day, since we were leaving before breakfast started, staff promised to find us something to take with us, but we were only given two tiny pieces of cake ( see pic below) and one coffee for two people. For the price, we expected working AC, Wi-Fi, and a proper breakfast. When someone did come in to look at the AC the bed beneath was covered dirty black residue from the AC unit and the sheets and pillows were not dealt with. Edit: After requesting some compensation or something, the hotel manager denied the issues with the AC, claiming the AC was working and that they offer a variety of breakfast options. They also falsely stated that we ate dinner at the hotel twice without paying, and that we “just left early this morning.” We had told them in advance about our early departure and were promised an early breakfast, so these statements are simply not true. Beautiful traditional Riad in a quiet area but easy walking distance to the souks. Friendly and helpful staff, nothing was too much trouble. Rooms are small but very clean, bed comfortable, we slept very well. Bathroom also small but well equipped and maintained, lovely toiletries provided and good hairdryer. Traditional Morrocan breakfast included, fresh and tasty. Roof terrace has plenty of seating and a couple of sunbeds are provided if you want to use them. Thoroughly enjoyed our 3 day stay, would love to return.

Nous avons adoré échanger avec vous sur votre culture et votre savoir-faire : des moments précieux et authentiques. Toutes les activités faites au sein du riad ainsi que chaque repas étaient parfaits : délicieux, soignés, généreux… un vrai bonheur ! Un merci tout particulier pour les magnifiques surprises organisées pour notre anniversaire de mariage. Ce sont des souvenirs que nous n’oublierons jamais. Merci pour tout, vraiment. Nous avons eu un super accueil, tout le personnel est très gentil, serviable, souriant. Nous avons eu surtout contact avec Samir, Hamza et Mohamed qui ont toujours été bienveillants et nous ont permis de passer un excellent séjour. Das Zimmer war makellos sauber und hübsch eingerichtet. Frühstück und auch das Abendessen auf der Dachterrasse waren super ( auch im marrokanischen Stil ). Besonders hervorzuheben ist aber die Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft des gesamten Personals. Ich hatte 2 x Massage bei Hinde, für mich die beste Massage, die ich je hatte ! Danke für eine wunderbare Zeit in dem sehr hübschen Riad Nelia.

This was a very cute Riad, once inside I was totally in love with the place. The aesthetics of it.. the staff is very helpful and welcoming. I would certainly recommend and would stay again. Don’t expect any tv’s in the room .. there is none plus just know it’s a room that is beautifully decorated and that’s it. To me it was enough, I was tired and just needed the place to sleep.
