"Check in/out was quick and easy. The room was outdated but it was fine for what we needed. We did not have a room with a view, I would recommend asking about a room with a view if your stay is more than one night. We had a nice dinner in the restaurant and after dinner drinks in the Tap Room. The bartender Timika was great and the man singing and playing guitar was very entertaining! It was a wonderful evening! "

"The cabin was really nice and very clean. The front porch has a beautiful view of the mountains which was a wonderful place to have our morning coffee. We enjoyed a walk to the nearby lake and the peaceful surroundings. The cabin is conveniently located to Shenandoah National Park and the cute town of Luray. We would definitely stay here again. "

"We loved our stay at this cozy old farmhouse! It reminded me of my great grandparents' farmhouse. It’s so peaceful and tucked away in the country, with a big yard surrounded by woods. We saw lots of deer while we were there, which was such a treat. The house had great hot water, heat, and air. The fire pit was perfect in the evenings with wood and chairs already provided, and the hosts even left s’mores ingredients! They really thought of all the little things, like shampoo, laundry detergent, and card games provided. They gave us clear directions so we wouldn’t get lost. The hosts were friendly and quick to respond. Thank you for giving us a place to enjoy "coming home to" each day after hiking and exploring the surrounding areas!"

"The cabin was perfect for our stay. It was private, rustic, and the location was great making it easy to enter the park. Our host was also great and very responsive to my messages. The listing is accurate about the road up to the cabin. You definitely need at least AWD to make it up!"

"Excellenct location for visit to Shenandoah National Park and Skyline Drive. The house was beautify restored, the owners had even built custom cabinets out of salvaged wood. Very comfortable beds and furniture, and a well equipped kitchen that had everything we needed for home cooking. Very clean!! Quiet location, and we enjoyed watching deer in the hayfield. Not far from restaurants, shops and grocery in Luray and orchards and craft stores in Sperryville. "

"Our family loved this cozy rustic cabin in the woods with two fireplaces and a private pond. Future visitors need to watch closely for the dirt road to turn off toward the cabin as it was easy for us to miss. Otherwise we had no issues and thoroughly enjoyed our fall family get-away!"
