Le Rotonde Hotel is a family-run hotel which makes you feel at home. They are always helpful to figure out normal tourist questions and concerns. Great location and nice and quiet.

The staff was great and the food was wonderful! Our room had access to a large balcony with a beautiful view of the lake. We sat outside and watched the sun go down and it was spectacular!

This is a very unique place off the beaten path, yet worth the effort if you like or love eclectic places or just the feeling. There is a beautiful garden area with random art all throughout. The smell is incredible with all the foliage. Food is good. I cannot say how much we loved the atmosphere. Beds aren’t soft, but still you sleep well enough.

L’ensemble hôtelier est juste magnifique avec son parc et la piscine au calme. Le restaurant est très bon. Seul bémol la qualité de la literie somme toute importante pour un hôtel. Un lit double avec sommier en ressort ancien et un matelas pas très confortable. L’hôtel est rénovée petit à petit, prochaine etape à prévoir, la literie.

étape detente entre Lucca et Pise

nous avons été très bien accueillis et l'hôtel est vraiment charmant dans ce petit village . Les jardins et la piscine de l'hôtel sont absolument magnifiques . Le restaurant est délicieux et c'est un pur bonheur de dîner le soir et de prendre son petit déjeuner le matin dans les jardins. seul bemol : la taille de la chambre, minuscule.

DID NOT COME UP TO EXPECTATIONS

Perhaps we got the smallest room in the hotel but it was certainly not the size which appeared on the hotel website's photos. Just enough room for the bed, wardrobe and small desk. No easy chairs or sofa. Bathroom was small and offered not nearly enough shelf space for cosmetics, toiletries etc. Many of which we just had to leave on the floor. Air conditioning unit worked reasonably well - but housekeeping turned it off most days so on our return after a day's sightseeing we had to start cooling the room all over again. Plumbing and furniture generally a little tired. Walls thin and (French) children were allowed to run riot through the corridors and also enjoyed telephoning other rooms to cause annoyance, although, to be fair, this was the parents' fault and not the hotel's. Also the first Italian hotel I've ever stayed in which did not offer a welcome glass of Prosecco on ice. Very limited English spoken. However, good and varied breakfast; reasonably well kept pool; extensive quiet gardens and very good restaurant. Would we recommend this hotel to others - Probably yes, but with reservations.

Relax in giro per la Toscana

Hotel comodo per visitare sia Viareggio/Forte dei Marmi e sia per visitare città come Lucca o Pisa. Hotel nella campagna, abbastanza isolato dove poter dormire in pace. Bella la piscina immersa in un parco anche se c'erano tante zanzare. Camera molto semplice, l'unica pecca il letto matrimoniale formato da due materassi. Colazione molto buona anche se espresso o cappuccino dovevano essere pagati a parte. Perfetta per chi cerca relax durante una bella gita alla scoperta della Toscana.

La camera era fredda e dopo aver chiesto il telecomando del condizionatore, ci ha messo delle ore a scaldarsi. Il bagno invece non è dotato di riscaldamento, vi lascio immaginare il disagio nel fare la doccia. Siamo già stati in questo hotel l'anno scorso ma la qualità generale è drasticamente calata.

La camera non era grande e con due letti gemelli nonostante la richiesta di letto matrimoniale ma pulita e con letti confortevoli. Nel bagno carenza di prodotti detergenti di cortesia. Il livello molto buono della cucina alza decisamente il giudizio. Tutto sommato ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo. Da consigliare.
