"I enjoyed my stay in the Chappy House – Room 409, a suite with its on entrance from the outside. It was very well appointed and similar to a spacious one bedroom apartment without the kitchen. Must be capable of maneuvering stone pathways and steps to access it. Very nice for a long-term stay. I’d be interested in purchasing one! (Luxury vinyl plank flooring needs repairing in one hallway spot — barely noticeable.) 🙂"

"The drop-dead gorgeous view from the second floor porch is truly what makes this home stand out from all the others. You can sit on the porch and look out over Katama Bay and shoreline and not have to go anywhere else -- you are on vacation ! In fact, the entire second floor offers beautiful, scenic views with windows all around. We found it fascinating to sit there during a rain storm and watch the lightening show. As you might have guessed the house is an upside down design. The second floor, as you prob have gathered, is really special. The first floor is clean, tidy, and nice but the second floor steals the show. The first floor deck is also spacious and most of it is shaded, which is great on really hot days. We found our host, Erica, to be very helpful with a few little things that came up. The kitchen area is tight but completely workable. The dining area is great with a plenty big table and there's a glassed in alcove with a smaller table where my husband liked to have his breakfast and read his book. One of the nice things about this house is that there was space for the seven us (including a toddler) to hang out comfortably together or go off on our own for some alone time. Running out of space but want to mention: Walking up the sandy road to breath-taking Wasque with its crashing waves, swimming in the pond at Wasque, watching the ospreys and the sandpipers, riding bikes down to the ferry, visiting East Beach, taking outdoor showers, etc."

"House was great. Looks exactly like it does in the pictures. Communication with the host was easy and she was readily available to answer any of our questions. Best part of the home was the kitchen where we spent many mornings making breakfast and congregating before we started our day. Chappy is a quaint island off Edgartown and once you get used to the Ferry, it’s nice being a little away from mainland. Definitely recommend."

"Host was great. House was very big with bedrooms on 3 floors. Wonderful neighborhood and very short drive to beautiful South Beach. House is very dated. Mostly no problem but master bath is not so nice, very old and shower should be avoided. We will certainly rent again."

"We had a great stay at this vacation rental on Chappaquiddick Island. The kitchen was well stocked and the view out the back porch of the bay is gorgeous. We purchased an over the sand vehicle pass and had a great time driving our vehicle on the beach to the lighthouse. Access to the big island, Edgartown was easy to get to back-and-forth either with a car or by foot by parking on the chappy side via the on-time ferry. Overall, we had a lovely stay. thank you so much highly recommend. "

The location couldn't have been better—convenient to everything while still feeling like a private oasis. The property offers an impressive range of amenities, is exceptionally well maintained, and every detail has clearly been thoughtfully considered. Multiple times our combined families said this has a resort feel!! The instructions for check-in, check-out, and house operations were clear and easy to follow, which made our stay completely stress-free. We truly felt at home from the moment we arrived.If you're considering this property, don't second-guess it—just book and enjoy! You won't be disappointed."
