Chappaquiddick Getaway with stunning Ocean Views, walk to the beach

"Million dollar view from the top floor living room/kitchen & deck. Upper deck is large enough to enjoy family meals from. Property is a five-min walk to the bay for swimming in calm (and very warm) waters. East Beach/Leland for ocrean swimming is deserted even in high season and can be easily biked to or is just a short car ride away. Chappy ferry also easily bikeable, maybe 4-miles or so. All in all a very relaxing stay and host was great for providing suggestions. After experiencing the crowds of Edgartown and the other down-island towns it was so nice to escape and come home to Chappy for peace & quiet. Slip Away Farm was a lovely little market in an ancient one-room schoolhouse. Definitely ride your bikes out to Wasque Point and walk the trails there.There were two additional bikes on the property that we used almost every day as there were six of us who had brought 4-bikes with us. The sand on the dirt roads can sometimes get a little deep and the trails are rocky if you have a road bike, but they're totally manageable even if you've got thin tires meant for asphalt. The house itself is nicer than everything we saw in this price point. While not luxurious by any means, it was comfortable. There are some neighboring houses, but we never really heard much from them except for maybe 1-2 evenings towards the end of our stay when they were entertaining for dinner. Was never a problem and you really do feel pretty secluded here."

"We LOVED our stay at Faraway - the pool was amazing, staff was super helpful. They had a very convenient messaging system for requests. The staff recommended the Pelican Club for dinner, which is basically right on-site, but we tried to get in multiple times and there was always a wait! The food at their snack bar was really good for lunch. The location was incredible - it was our first time in Martha's Vineyard and we feel we got so spoiled!!"

"Host was great. House was very big with bedrooms on 3 floors. Wonderful neighborhood and very short drive to beautiful South Beach. House is very dated. Mostly no problem but master bath is not so nice, very old and shower should be avoided. We will certainly rent again."

"House and guest house were spacious , pool and yard were great . The hot water in the bathrooms was not good for bathing (not enough) and the downstairs bedrooms were a bit musty . All bathrooms were small. Beautiful pool and yard and great location."

"We had a great stay at this vacation rental on Chappaquiddick Island. The kitchen was well stocked and the view out the back porch of the bay is gorgeous. We purchased an over the sand vehicle pass and had a great time driving our vehicle on the beach to the lighthouse. Access to the big island, Edgartown was easy to get to back-and-forth either with a car or by foot by parking on the chappy side via the on-time ferry. Overall, we had a lovely stay. thank you so much highly recommend. "

The location couldn't have been better—convenient to everything while still feeling like a private oasis. The property offers an impressive range of amenities, is exceptionally well maintained, and every detail has clearly been thoughtfully considered. Multiple times our combined families said this has a resort feel!! The instructions for check-in, check-out, and house operations were clear and easy to follow, which made our stay completely stress-free. We truly felt at home from the moment we arrived.If you're considering this property, don't second-guess it—just book and enjoy! You won't be disappointed."
