"Loved the location it’s pretty much in the center of the town. Has restaurants & many coffee shops nearby. ☕️ The rooms are very spacious and chic, the tiles on the floor were my favorite!💙I loved that the windows are able to open into a tiny balcony and you can hear the birds all day. ☀️ AC was working fine, TV has access to Netflix/Prime etc. Wifi worked well. "If you have the urge to stay in what might be a medieval castle, consider this property. It was listed on one website as a 1* facility. Confusing to find the entrance & check in. Someone from the restaurant eventually assisted us. Yellow limestone brick walls … which are fine. No elevator so not an accessible property. There is a 3 piece bathroom (some black mold) in each room, wifi, TV. & AC. There is no fridge, coffee or tea available. There is no where to put your luggage except on the floor. The hotel asks that you hang towels to be reused but there are no towel racks or hooks in the bathroom. There’s a breakfast served in the restaurant from 08-1100. Order from a menu. Standard fare. Usually eggs. Parking in a large lot at the front of the restaurant/hotel but often jammed with cars double parked etc for visitors to Mdina. There are self appointed (as far as I can tell) parking attendants who look for cash from you as they ‘assist’ you to park between the white lines."

"The location of the hotel was central to all the important historical attractions. The hotel is elegant with an air of luxury and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Our room was super clean , beautiful bed linen and comfortable. We had lunch and dinner on several occasions and it didn’t disappoint. I would definitely stay there again."

"This a fantastic little hotel. Good sized room with all the required amenities. The rooms are obviously well maintained. Throughout our stay our room was kept very clean. The location is also very good in quiet corner of Rabat but only a few minutes walk to the centre. The staff deserve special mention - they were extremely accommodating, responsive, and helpful - our holiday was certainly made far better by them."

"The hotel was amazing. It felt special to stay in this city. Highly recommend it. We met Omar the owner and he told us this used to be his family home, which he took 12 years to renovate. It’s amazing ! We debated on staying in Rabat and glad we chose not too. You get a different and better experience to stay directly in this city. Walking around after dark there are not many people and the city looks enchanting. We ate two times at Fontenella Tea Garden for breakfast. Also ate at Coogie’s and AD 1530… great choices. The Medina Restaurant looked nice as well with a guitar player in the evening. We sat on the rooftop one afternoon but did not get a chance to use the pool. Looked great though."

"The house was comfortable, clean and cosy. The house was in the centre of Mdina and within easy reach of all Mdina had to offer. Joanna was very welcoming and helpful and was on hand if we needed anything. Andrea kept in touch as well. I would highly recommend this property as a base to explore Mdina and indeed Malta itself."
